If it's any help i didn't put any noticable weight on with my Implanon. I've had it twice for a total of around 5 years (had it out early to have kids). It did make me pretty moody this time around though and the bleeding is v irregular. There are lots of other options if it doesn't suit you, so don't waste time sticking with it if you think it's having a bad effect. HTH

All superfree foods are free but are some less free than others?

I've stuck for two weeks now but have been good ~ 3 syns per day...but I do like bananas and they worry me.

3 bananas a day is the norm for me, could this be the problem?
    other staples include:

    3 mullers
    2 0.4% cottage cheeses
    2 eggs
    20 grapes

I will have around 4 red days per week.

All free foods are created equal as far as head office is concerned. However, I do think sticking to the same foods day after day, week after week can cause problems, have a change round - look for something new.

I do wonder why you need so many snacks. I'm not having a go, but if you ate enough at each mealtime, it shouldn't really be necessary to have 3 yoghurts + 3 bananas etc every day. I have a massive appetite, but I tend to eat each meal as though there's going to be a famine and thus don't have much in the way of snacks.

Cutting back on your syns is not actually following the plan 100% you know. You're meant to have at least 5 a day even when you're struggling to lose the last few stubborn pounds. It could be that you're not eating enough!

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, particularly now the weather has warmed up a bit (hope yours is like ours today, it's been gorgeous).

Don't panic about the scales sticking - are you finding a difference in your waistbands? It's often the case that you lose inches in those weeks you don't lose pounds.

Hope this helps.....just stick to it and it will work, I promise :)

    PS: Well done Scotty71 :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thanks consultant, a change sounds the right thing. All these are not snacks though. I try to incorporate superfree into my meals so brekky will see off 2 weetabix, one cottage cheese and a banana if you see what i mean. I do think i'm shape shifting this week like you say.

Apples tomorrow instead of bananas and more earl grey :-)

Thanks for the boost, no plans of slacking.

P.S. Anyone know this Angelo chap on Radio One who is doing SW?

    Hi all,

Had my first weigh in on Tuesday and lost 2.5lb :j. Then had a kebab from the chippy on the way home which was horrible and woke up on Wednesday with awlful stomach cramps. Then was really good all day yesterday until i got home and had a craving for chocolate, so i stuffed myself with a bag of those huge choc buttons and half a packet of pringles. Although scarely didn't feel guilty about it. Have sort have been back on track today, although lunch did consist of a packet of french fries and a curley wirly as i was on the go, but it was within my syns limit as everything else has been free.

I'm just getting a bit bored of fruit and mullerlights to snack on now. Need to find something savory that is low in syns as i'm relying on a packet of french fries at 10.30am to get me through to lunch. Any ideas (it has to be gluten free as well)

At my smallest i have only ever been a 14, and at the moment i am a big 16, so i can't imagine me ever being within my BMI. My husband has said then when i have lost my first stone he will join SW as well (he is currently about 4 stone overweight).

Can't wait until Tuesday, hoping for at least a 1lb weight loss but would love a 2lb.

Dont beat yourself up if you fall off plan. Just try to fill yourself up completely at meals. (This is what I do)
Savory snacks: Well, anything that you would eat free can be a snack.
    For instance I eat :
Chicken drumsticks Free (without skin) Red
Tesco Hot and spicy chicken bites 1/2 syn for 110g pack (red)
Quavers multipack 17g bag 4.5 syns
Syn free quiche cut up into cubes.
Marions Breakfast Rice (search the forum here for the recipe!) Free on green
You have to be a bit inventive sometimes.

Dont know if thats any help....
