Hi!! Just thought I would subscribe to this thread - I am going to join SW on 1st June (don’t get paid til end of month!) from what I have read on here and other places such as ciao! It looks great - I love my food and hate diets where you starve yourself!!!!!!

7½ Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy
11½ Syns per package/portion on Green
7½ Syns per package/portion on Original

I think its prob because its got 10g of fat per 100g that its higher than I expected.

Well SW is all about fitting healthy eating into your normal life. And in this economic climate wasting food is sinful.(as opposed to synful!)
2.5 syns over is fairly minor in the grand scheme of things. I had about 10 over yesterday (Sunday Lunch out), but over the course of the week, I had 2.5 one day and 9-12 for the other days.
I think it averages out, so if you do it everyday, then yes, you will gain, but now and again shouldnt affect it.

Its why they have flexible Syns!

  • I've just been to my first meeting - eek! Was so scared, but everyone seems very nice. She didn't give me a 'one-on-one' introduction, but did a revison session for the whole group. I'm feeling positive - got a 'free' lunch ready for tomorrow, have planned a low-syn breakfast, and I'm going to the supermarket tomorrow to stock up. Feeling relatively positive!

    Hi,

    me again wanting another favour..............:o
Please would someone mind checking online to find the Syns on Sainsburys mediteranean vegetable pasta - it is a chilled ready meal 400g. Hope its not too many as I have partaken of this for my lunch!!

In fact, I think I have probably eaten far too many syns today.
    Let me see.

    2 digestives - 4 syns
    half bounty - 6.5 syns
    lemon drizzle cake - 5.5syns

total 16 - plus pasta meal  oops. Not really diet food there. It was just one of those days today. The cravings were too much..............

    MUST STOP EATING GOODIES!!

    Thanks!

DH has just got back from WI & has lost 1lb. He was disappointed but he had a bad cold for 4 days last week and he had fish from chip shop and home made pizza that DS made. All in all I think he has done well!

    Hi Lu :hello:

Nice to see you, I have been over this side since way back before I was pregnant. By following the plan (loosely) I manged to only gain about 1st 8oz by the end of my pregnancy and lost every single pound by my 6wk check:j

Although in the last 3wks I have gained 5lbs:o So my first mission is to lose that, then get cracking on the other 4st!!!!

Grrrrr I have ended up 5 Syns over today:naughty:
