Sorry for your loss - it's always a shock even when folk are elderly.flutterbyuk25 wrote: »Well considering I was off the SW wagon last week I still somehow managed a 1 and half pound loss. And it was my star week too.
But when I got home I found out that my grandfather had passed awayHe was 89, and not in best of health.

I've had a rubbish week - very stressful. Last Thursday my daughter had a mole removed, Friday was my Uncle's funeral, Saturday was a trip to Eastbourne for the day (and I overslept, so my friend was banging on the front door to wake me up!).
Yesterday evening we discovered that the venue we had booked for a charity black tie do on Saturday for 130 had been double-booked and we had to find somewhere else quickly. . . . . .this is a continuing saga. .. . . so lots of hassle.
On the plus side, I have done my best to stay on plan. WI tomorrow morning - but I have had one or two little blips this week. I would be happy if I stayed the same, but frankly it's only numbers! Back on the wagon now, so only a slight diversion .. . . .
I have treated myself to a little bunch of flowers for my desk rather than trying to solve it with chocolate!0 -

PS do you think its childish if I remind my consultant to give me a slimmer of the week certificate and sticker (I mean award) next week as she'd run out this week?
Absolutely not - you worked for them, you earned them and you're entitled to get them. I always put a note on the weight record card of a member I haven't been able to give an award to, so hopefully, your Consultant will have done the same and won't forget, but if she does, do please remind her.
Well done :T :j :TI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I had WI last night & lost 1.5 pound, 1 stone 1.5 pound in 10 weeks, not bad I think. Got a hard week this week, worked last night, got an exam tomorrow, working thursday night, but hopefully all will go ok, just maybe not perfect!!
Might have to go & get some more 20p mullers before they go up again!!0 -
They'd run out of those 20p mullers at our Asda (Shrewsbury) last night, but they did have some of their own light ones that looked identical for 20p. They are much runnier though, more like single cream than yoghurt!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hi folks
Congratulations on the weight losses everyone. Flutterby - sorry to hear about your Grandad. Cuffey - sorry to hear you have been having a horrendous week, fingers crossed next week will be better.
Well this summer weather has spurred me on. Had a delicious steak (which was marked down from £3.80 to £1.20 today) with wedges and a huge salad. Went shopping to get shoes for a wedding I am going to in August today and I didn't have any treats with my coffee so am happy with that. Not sure I will lose anything on Thursday when I weigh in due to the bad weekend (thanks for the syns counts for the cheeseburger and fries Fluffynit) but if I can stay the same I will be happy.
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine, and good luck on the weigh ins.0 -
for those with Somerfield nearby mullerlights are 4 for £1 at the mo (not sure if the offer's changing tomorrow?) our nearest asda is 25miles away so somerfield is the next best thing - went and stocked up today

Not childish at all, my certificates cover the fridge and keep me motivated and every time I get a new sticker it feels like I'e won a tenner on the lottery!!! I want my book to be rainbow coloured with all the stickers, prefer the shiny glittery ones!!!
Oh, I lost 2 pounds this week making it 3 stone 4.5!! Going for 2.5 this week to make my 3.5 stone!! Another sticker....YAY!!I believe that I have the strength to make my dreams come true:T September Challenge £5 per day - £0/£150 :T0 -
Hi, I know muller light yoghurts are free but are the muller rice? If not does anyone know how many syns they are?Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it0
