Oh dear having a bit of a bad weekend. Had menu planned very well but forgot to take the food for last night out of the freezer so ended up having some Southern fried chicken last night for tea (fortunately not a take out).
Today I took DS to the park and we had only been there twenty minutes when the heavens opened. DS was so upset as he had been looking forward to riding his bike and playing on the swings/sldes so I offered to take him to McDonalds. I was restrained and only had a cheeseburger and small fries but there must have been about a weeks syns in that.
Also had a few mini bars of chocolate over the weekend and some of a lovely Tarte Aux Pommes. Plus a few glasses of wine on Friday and Saturday night. Aaaaaargh when I see it all written down I have been a nightmare over the weekend:eek:

I always have milk as one of my HEA's as I have cereal in the morning and am a tea addict. I have been decanting 250ml into an old baby bottle each morning and using that for everything, but we had a German student staying this week and I happened to glance up when I was pouring milk onto my shredded wheat yesterday and she looked horrified - I think she thought I was putting breast milk onto my breakfast  ! Goodness knows what she's going to say about the mad English when she gets home as I've been doing it all week. :rotfl:Slimming World convert, joined 23rd April 2009

PMSL @ rabbit! Reminds me of an exchange student one of our family friends had staying at the time of my dad's birthday. It was a big one, and it is a tradition that both families get silly presents/do something silly for each's birthday. The other family, complete with exchange student in tow, came very early one morning to wrap our house in a huuuge banner and cook hm breakfast in bed.
Apparently, the exchange student could understand WHAT they were doing... just really couldn't comprehend WHY!!
Anyhoo my day has been ok:

MIL brought round a full cooked chicken last night so need to decide how to make it interesting for dinner tonight.......any ideas?
Interesting that the thread is a bit quiet. Our consultant sais that for the last 2 weeks, the gains have been BIGGER than the losses overall, which was a first. Wonder if the weather is having an impact on everyone.....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
