recovering_spendaholic wrote: »Hello everyone - Day 2 on SW EE and I've really enjoyed my food today!
Breakfast was Marion's breakfast rice (just had half, saved rest for some supper)
Lunch was stir fry veg with turkey breast and noodles
Dinner was huge salad with baby spinach leaves instead of lettuce with chicken thigh fillets cooked in non-stick pan with Schwartz chicken seasoning, cottage cheese and small jacket potato, followed by a mandarin mullerlight
Snacks have been plums, 4 crackerbread (4 syns) 1tbs of Sainsburys BGTY celery and cheese spread (couldn't find on syns online so guessing 3) 2 mini cocktail sausages (3)
HEA was milk and haven't manage to fit in a HEB!
I have just done a food diary on excel - quite simple but easier to fit a whole days food in than the Slimming World one IMO. If anyone wants me to send them one to print off just pm me with your e-mail address (or pm me and I will send you my e-mail address first so you know I'm not some mad spammer) and I will send it back as an attachment.
The baked bean lasagne sounds lovely!
Mmmm - that looks a good menu. Wasn't sure if you knew you'll have to syn the seasoning, I think, and that's usually because they have sugar in. Was it one of these?

I know the shotz seasonings are free, but some of the packet ones for 'proper' meals as i call themlike chilli con carne, or shepherds pie can be fairly high. I cant keep up with how many seasonings they bring out nowadays anyway!
May i ask what is this marions breakfast rice everyone keeps mentioning...??Please be nice to all moneysavers!

I can't find the post... it's cooked pudding rice mixed with a muller light and fruit of a complementary flavour - like banana and custard with chopped banana etc - nice breakfast for a EE day and one that doesn't use a precious HEb.0 -

Thankyou for your welcome sw_mina - Congratulations on your amazing weightloss! your 'before' numbers are very like mine!
I would much prefer to lose weight without surgery, I just seem to have tried and failed so many times that it seems worth considering. For now though I'm going to try and get hold of a Extra Easy Book and give that a try!May i ask what is this marions breakfast rice everyone keeps mentioning...??
Today I have had
B- Banana and Muller light
L- Chicken Mugshot
D- Roast chicken with h/m coleslaw (cabbage, carrot, celeriac, onion mixed with 2 tbs Hellmanns Light mayo (4)), tomatoes, cucumber
HeA - skimmed milk in tea/coffee
White wine x2 (12?)
Not sure what plan this fits with, am working on M2M but please put me right if I have got this wrong
Will plan better tomorrow and do a bit of reading and try and get my head around EE - can you mix that in with red and green days or should you just do EE on it's own?
Many thanks

Glad you liked it! Try slicing a banana in with the vanilla choc breakfast rice - nice enough for a pudding!:DWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Marion's breakfast sounds lush - what do you do? just cook the pudding rice and then add a muller ????Little Miss Chatterbox

More or less! Cook 1/2 cup of pudding rice in 1 cup of water for about 20 minutes (I use my remoska). Remove from heat put into a bowl, add fruit and a complementing muller yogurt and mix together! ie rice with sliced banana and toffee yogurt, rice with frozen blueberrys and a blueberry yogurt, rice with mandarin segments (chopped) and mandarin yogurt. For best results eat straight away while it is nice and warm! Tastes really nice and is very very filling! Also free on SW green and EE so can be made any time you fancy it really!
