Please DO NOT post the password - it is possible that this thread could be shut down if you do. This quote is from the first page in this thread:Why wont anyone share the password for the Slimming World Members site Lifeline Online?
It may seem unfair that those members who attend class each week and therefore know the password do not share it! The simple answer to this is that the sharing of the password will get this invaluable forum shut down.
I can say no more on the subject as the following letter sums it up perfectly. This letter was posted by another member on our previous SW thread. I understand the letter was sent by SW in respect of another SW support forum.
Dear Administrator,
I’ve received a letter from a Slimming World member who is very disappointed to see that the password for LifelineOnline is being shared on your forum. Whilst I can see that your forum is a source of mid-week support and motivation for many members – and possibly non-members too – I would appreciate it if you could ensure that the password isn’t published on your pages.
Group members pay a weekly fee which includes exclusive access to the site. LifelineOnline is an extension of Slimming World, rather than a support system in itself, by passing the password on to non-members it is depriving them of experiencing for themselves the unique support of a Slimming World group and Image Therapy. We are the only slimming company that allows members free access to a member’s website via a password (other companies charge for this service); if the password continues to be made available to non-members on unofficial forums, we may have to review LifelineOnline ‘free’ status.
We do take this seriously because we want to offer our members the very best online support and help for free. I hope you can appreciate that and are able to action this on your support forum as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely
Nicola Slack

Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here before but am hoping for some help. I have just started following the plan, haven't been to a class yet so don't have books, but I didn't want to put it off just because of that! Am so chuffed I have already lost 6 lbs in my first week and a bit.
My problem is we are going away to a festival for the weekend and I don't have a clue what to eat all weekend. There will be the usual burger vans etc. and I really don't want to undo all my effort this week. I would be so upset to find I had gained on Monday.
Any one have any ideas please? We have a gas cooker in our campervan but I really don't want to spend the weekend cooking on it! Previoulsy I would have just stocked up on sausage rolls and crisps and biscuits for the weekend but that was in my previous life.
Thanks for any suggestions, and I look forward to joining you all now I found you!0 -
This is (edited from) what SW have to say about food optimising while at festival:
You can’t control every aspect of the food you eat, but you can make some smart choices that’ll fill you up, keep you satisfied and give you lots of much-needed energy
If you’re going Green:
Pasta stalls opt for tomato-based sauces rather than creamy ones, and enjoy a sprinkling of cheese for your Healthy ‘a’ choice.
Jacket potatoes are a favourite . Opt for toppings such as beans, Quorn chilli or cottage cheese to keep the Syns low.
Pay the Chinese stall a visit for noodles with sweet and sour sauce, egg foo-yung, vegetable chow mein or vegetable fried rice. Hot and sour soups can also be a warming, low-Syn starter or late-night snack
Refreshing mixed-bean salads served with natural yogurt are available at a lot of the vegetarian/vegan specialists at most festivals – a great lunch option.
Mexican, a wholemeal pitta stuffed with salad and houmous or bean chilli is a great alternative to nachos laden with soured cream and guacamole – more filling too!
Thai options include mountains of fragrant Thai rice or Pad Thai Jay – a veggie stir-fried noodle dish. Som Tum (spicy vegetable salad) is also good for a Green choice.
If you’re going Original:
flame-grills or barbecues, where you can pick up a juicy cut of beef, lamb or pork.
Japanese food is a slimmer’s saviour at festivals - healthy Japanese cuisine, including sushi boxes and teriyaki dishes.
A big bowl of Mexican beef chilli with a baked potato as a Healthy Extra makes great fork food on an Original day.
Think Smart Syns when opting for ready meals – options with a high proportion of Free Food that’ll keep you satisfied for longer.
With a couple of trips to the local supermarket or on-site shop, you can save a fortune and have loads of fun in the process by cooking your own food outside your tent.
Disposable barbecues are great for dinner. On an Original day, enjoy fresh, lean cuts of meat, and on Green, throw corn-on-the-cob, peppers and halved courgettes on the grill. Serve with bagged salad leaves for extra filling power.
If the organisers permit small fires, thread low-Syn sausages or lean rashers of bacon concertina-style onto sharpened sticks and munch away! Once the flames have died down, you can even heat beans, spaghetti hoops and Healthy Extra soups in their tins on the hot embers.
If using a gas stove, take along a single robust saucepan, wooden spoon and some Fry Light to make a bevy of one-pot wonders. Fill up for Free on a Green day by boiling tinned new potatoes in water, then draining and adding mushy peas, baked beans or tinned spaghetti and tucking in straight from the pan! Take along some perfect packet options, such as Batchelors Thai Sweet Chilli Super Low Fat Noodles, Vegetable Savoury Rice and Creamy Tikka Masala Pasta n’ Sauce, which are all Free on Green – check out the new Food Directory for the full range of flavours.0 -

Do you have a fridge? If so you could prepare things like pasta salads before you go. Hard boiled eggs are good and easy to do on the stove, as is pasta and HM syn free sauces such as tom, basil and garlic. You could consider things like kebabs too, I have chicken breast kebabs, loads of salad and I ask them to put it in the box minus the pitta, just make sure they havent put any oils on the salad. Whatever happens just remember its 2 days, make the best choices you can, and get straight back to it once home.0 -
WI last night and lost 2 &1/2 lb :j Am a very happy bunny
Just need to loose another 1/2lb to get my half stone award - did contemplate doing a strip to loose the last half lb, but though i might upset a few people
Well done to everyone on thier WIs - keep it up :T0 -
Yep that is a lot of syns! But I promise to be good from saturday:A. Hubby is desperate for a domino's, I have promised him for a long time now, I can't sit by and watch him eat it on his own.
Jolene
Jolene: If its not too late, how about you make a MOUNTAIN of syn free chips, and nick 1-2 slices of his pizza? An average slice of Pizza is suppposed to be 12 syns, so you could still enjoy a bit of pizza but stay in control?0 -
Right, just enough time to type my food diary before I pop out and do a bit of body magic. I'm quite hoping my new job, waitressing/bar will help here, as previous was sat on an ever growing bottom all day in an office! Waitressing has got to burn quite a lot more calories, surely?!
anyhow:
b) F&F & milk - BB & A, since it was a lot of F&F (whoops, didn't measure it)
l) pasta & sauce made with water, and an A choice of cheese
d) For once I'm being organised and I'm making dinner now, since I'm working from 5.30pm and I didn't get time for dinner last night until midnight! Its potato salad with VLF mayo and sweetcorn. (2 syns)
Bit narked that I'm not getting my 5 a day, I usually get more than 5! Its hard when I've got to take packed lunches for varying shifts.. anyone got any suggestions?
I'm meal planning a week in advance which I never used to; being on a stricter budget has enforced it. Did get a shock with my supermarket bill though: I was going for £20, and it came to £12! OK I forgot quorn sausages (£2) and eggs (£1 from local farm) but even including them (and I have decided I can manage without the sausages) it was an amazing result! All from only buying what I'm actually going to need!0 -

Smart price baked beans, red kidney beans, sweetcorn (all tinned), own brand smash, mug shots are 4 for £1.50 at the mo, Smart price pasta & sauce equivalents look very much the same as batchelors, but I can't get on syns online to confirm syns-wise, oh and not slimming but alberto balsam shampoo & conditioner is 3 4 £2 at the mo which I think is a real steal and I love the stuff!0 -
Hi does anyone have a copy of Juddermans Baked bean lasagne recipe? Ive made this loads of times but cant find the recipe and can remember how much cheese to use.
thanks Nic:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
