This was fab, thanks
I had the 28g of oats mixed with Onken Fat Free Strawb yogurt and left it 10 minutes, so much better than cooked porridge IMO

Just wanted to tell you about the magic porridge!
OMG, it was so yummy!!!
Just mixed a mullerlight (mandarin) with 28g porridge oats in a bowl & left in the fridge overnight.....in the morning nom nom nom, it was lovely, kept me full fo longer than porridge usually does. I really suggest you try it. I only found ou about this as we had a different consultant covering who suggested it to people who were STS to change things around a bit, surprising how many SW members hav 2 weatabix for brekkie, by alternating it a bit, with magic porridge for example, it can get your weight loss moving again!!
I reccomend you all try it! :j

Afternoon all. Sitting here munching my way through lovely big salad of chicken, sugarsnap peas, lettuce, pepper, tomatoes, cucumber etc. Yoghurt and grapes to finish with. . . .. feel as if I have been eating for about an hour already!!
Went out with girlies last night, and was a bit woried as it was a come and share supper - normally this would involve bread, butter and lots of cheese, quiche and so on. I quite though there wouldn't be anything SW enough to actually eat, but really pleased that several thoughtful people had brought salad, hard boiled eggs, ham, and fresh fruit. Filled my plate!0 -
Hi, having recently joined SW I have lost 2 1/2 lb first week and 2lb the second week. Am thrilled the weight is coming off steadily. Am doing mostly green days. I always want cereal for breakfast or alpen light bars! Is anyone else finding it difficult just having the 2 B choices? Today we are having a BBQ and I want 2 burgers in 2 baps lol. Im going to try making my own and have bought lean mince and am goin to add onion to it and maybe a bit of chill powder. I am goin to try and make home made coleslaw with the fat free yoghurt as it will be free and will put laughing cow triangles on top of the burger mmmmmmm will be lovely when it melts!
My SW consultant told us about corn thins that are similar to taco shells. Im goin to do a quorn chilli (from SW magazine) with these and see how it turns out!oooooooh i luv a bargain0 -
Afternoon everyone
Well, I've had a topsy turvy day. I braved the scales this morning and to my horror had put 2lbs on. Needed to go shopping so trudged out feeling fat and fed up.
Once out walked past jeans section in shop and decided to try on a pair as my old ones have developed a temperamental zip.
Picked up my usual size 12's - massive
size 10's - which have been a distant memory for too long - fit perfectly except for the waist which was still a bit too loose!
Left shop without jeans, but with massive boost to self confidence. This has restored my faith! I think I might try not to bother weighing myself again and just go on clothes fit.
So to any of you who have 'gained' and feel fed up, take heart. Sometimes the scales do lie!!0 -
That must have been such a lovely feeling the_cat. I'm chuffed I've got into pair of size 18 trousers from Tesco (was pushing a 22).

I am wanting to get back on to slimming world. If I join on line, will I get all the books I need with that? I remember having a book that you could look up the sin value of things - what was this book and will I get that one.
Am I best to go to a class?? It just time is limited.0 -
