worried jim - so true. add 'debilitating' to expensive on drugs.

ANYONE TAKING STATINS SHOULD BE ON CO-Q10.

STATINS DEPLETE THIS AND IT CAN CAUSE LEG PAINS, CRAMPS AND JOINT AND HEART ISSUES.

OOH lots of caps - well it is important.

Anyone suffering these things on these drugs - do google and find out more.

Good suppliers are Now, Healthy Origins etc.

If more info needed I'll post some links to articles.

Tried to post a bigger pic but photobucket has changed it's layout and i cant find sizing on the uploader..

The strawberry cake is lovely, would be nicer with cream poured over to serve but i ran out of cream.

I think i have enough lc food to keep me going for a while :D

Sounds like you have a busy evening ahead of you Mazzers! The fudge sounds so good...I may have to find the recipe.

Nuttybabe I commend you eating salad, I just can't get the inclination at this time of year. The actual thought of it is depressing to me, however in the summer I love it!

I am interested in what total carb counts everyone is on per day and still losing weight with?

Currently doing 20g but not sure how sustainable this is long term for me. I will soon be back behind a desk and need to think up lunchtime ideas that are relatively low and not a salad until May! Any suggestions?

i dont want to eat loads of veg twice a day, i get bored of it. even though i didnt today i do try to have 1 salad meal and 1 veg meal plus tomatoe with my breakfast.

i dont count my carbs usually, i just try to stick with low carb stuff BUT as i have been very naughty recently i am now back on induction to lose it.

do you have a microwave at work? you could take in low carb soup, mince and veg, meat and veg with a bit of gravy, anythign really, make a huge batch and freeze in portions.

Mazzers: That looks amazing! A feast fit for low carbers! Really amazing.

Barmaid: 20g intake sounds like the induction phase of the Atkins diet. It isn't recommended this is done for more than 6 months due to the longer term health implications. If your following the Atkins diet, after 2 weeks (or a slightly longer period if you have lots of weight to lose) you move into 'Ongoing Weight Loss' where you can start adding 10g of carb a week of the 'prescribed foods' to find your carb tolerance and where your still loosing weight. I bought the book when I first starting LC'ing, as I had so many unanswered questions and it was useful. Now I just try to keep low carbs and none of the really naughty refined ones like white pasta, white bread, etc. I am doing the proper induction for two weeks at the moment, aiming for Ketosis this week!
