I haven't stood on the scales since Monday and don't think I will til next week to give my body chance to adjust again:rolleyes:
I have had a stinking head since Friday. I thought it was me just getting back into ketosis again but I still have it today. I don't remember having it for this long beforeIf you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -
Think I should have taken the batteries out of the bathroom scales & hidden them
I've actually made things worse by weighing myself nearly every day - put weight on - oh well, I may as well eat that third piece of toast, fondant fancy, bag of crisps etc etc. Wish I could stop self-destructing

Sorry, forgot to say, hope your head gets better soon newish. When I re-start low-carb (getting to be a bit of a habit  ) I usually get a 'spaced out' head for a couple of days. Can't be good for us all this stopping & starting

Hey, you guys! It's just a little set-back, you know it goes on easily but it comes off just as quickly
Why don't we start posting menus again? There are a lot of people just starting out who could benefit from the meal ideas, and maybe it'll help you to stay on track if you know that everything you eat will be noted down..?
Here's mine:
Friday
3 scrambled eggs
Olives, fresh pineapple and spicy seeds
Veggie sushi
Quorn burger (I left the bun and chips), mozerella and tomato slices
Saturday
Quorn scotch eggs (there was no omelette option at Tesco's cafe)
Raspberries
3 hard-boiled eggs
Greek yoghurt, ground flax and almondsMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Right, now that i've slapped those in the naughty corner, i'll carry on with my post
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mercy those coconut muffins are lovely (take note those in the corner) really 'cakey' consistency.
I've been having mine sliced with a drizzle of agave nectar, gonna make more today as they are nicer the next day as you said.
Tis a beautiful day here so i may do some gardening.
Am also getting two bottles of da-vinci syrup.. sod it!!0 -
mazzers, I registered on the pig2twig forum last night (not a patch on this one btw!!) & tried to read the 'scales' info but there was just tmi!! Literally!! I find big paragraphs off-putting!! :rotfl: I was onto my 2nd glass of wine at the time so that may have had something to do with it?? Anyway, I will read it today. Promise.
badger, I have nearly always posted my daily menus but they were always the same old, same old!! Think that's why I lost my motivation - I just got sick of the same old food, to the point where I felt queasy just thinking about it. I am going to meal-plan this coming week so will post that - hopefully cheap & cheerful as well as low-carb.

I did read...and it made perfect sense. However....you really dont know just what I've put in my mouth in the last week to 10 days. :rotfl:And it's so bad, I cant tell all, either.
Btw...as Badger says....post your menus. I need to just copy.:rotfl:
I'm cooking 2 chickens today. One for dinner and one for cutting up and putting in the fridge for emergency 'need something right now' moments from tomorrow. Cos I KNOW I'm gonna have loads of them over the next few days. :rolleyes:Herman - MP for all!0 -
Btw....people's menus.....is that really all that goes in your mouth each day? Or do you 'pick' on the passing too....like cubes of cheese or a slice of chicken etc?
I often think the 3 meals a day menus seem very little.Herman - MP for all!0
