WOW - place is cooking on gas, lovely to see so many new posters in here. Every bit of advice is welcome.
Another good day in Gers Towers (except being subjected to some odd bullying in the vent forum but I have reported it!) with only LC food and drink passing my lips.
Tomorrow I am off very early again so will take with me a couple of cooked sausages and some cauli cheese thingy for my lunch. No idea what evening meal will be yet, depends on how long it takes me to drive the 190 miles home!

hi all!
Hannoja - I too do it alone but there's only me here so it's easy to avoid bringing bad choices in. However, if I do, there's no one to scoff em for me :rotfl:
Beanrua - Well done! That's excellent! :j:A:j
narabanek - do post your daily eats, we all can help if there's something you could attend to.
sheila54 - Have you tried the flaxbread or 'flax cracker type thing' on page 1 list? No gluten and very low carb. Flax is mostly fibre but you might count a 6in diameter cracker or 2 2x2inch slices as 1 or 2 carbs respectively.
This place is rocking right now! Glad there's a goodly few to liven it up. We help sometimes by just being there, mostly by being lovely:T:)
Beanrua you have done so well!!
Thanks I'll give it a try. Was really good tonight until it came to dessert and I had ice cream covered in expresso instead of the coffee I promised myself. Best of a bad choice on the menu. Trouble was that I have a free tastecard and I couldn't bear to waste the second dessert that didn't have to be paid for, or that is my excuse!
Will weigh tomorrow as I didn't make it today and see what happens0 -
Thanks everyone. I can at last say I've got rid of my post pregnancy bulge - thing is my last pregnancy was 28 years ago - twin boys - bit slower than Posh and the rest!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0

Less than half a gram of carbs in a peperami, and the sliced meat?
Are you eating enough?
I think the sugarfree sweets stalled me if i remember correctly, long time ago tho so could be wrong.0 -
<pushes her way through the crowd> 'ello you lot!
Yesterday was a struggle. Hope today will be easier!
Will try to guesstimate carbs. too...
B: 2 Herta frankfurters & Colac ketchup (~ 2g carbs.)
L: a 'protein fest': chicken, ham, cheese, Mayo, Brazil nuts (~ 5g?)
T: Prawn cocktail, red gem lettuce, chilli flakes (~3+1g)
O: peperami (0.6g), little chicken piece, couple small bites of toast (1g), couple baby hot dog sausages (those in beans) (1g), couple tubes of macaroni (1g), couple glasses of red wine (~8g*)
Total carbs.: ~ 22g
*It was a large bottle of Mr T cheapie French red wine. A quick google suggests it's around the 4g/glass (5 fl. oz.) mark..
Exercise: Hour's walk with chops, 45 mins. Zumba, ~ 30 mins. 'P.M. Stretch' (That one's NTSC: got mine off ebay). Wonderful combination
All in all, pretty pleased; as it could so easily have been a disaster, and at the start of the week that could've been catastrophic!!
Have a great day people!0 -
Morning Mazzers. I cannot see that im not to be honest. Yes yesterday was a chicken filled day but thats just cause thats what we had in the fridge as left overs. The peperrami thingies are cheapie own brand ones so yes 2 carbs each according to the packs. Weigh in for me in Monday mornings so I will give it till next Monday and see what happening if nothing then I will stop the sweets (boo hoo) its just weird how theyve suddently stalled me it could be cheese im rather a fan!Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!

Well today I went shopping a bought a few bits. I bought myself some sugar free werthers of which I am allowing myself one a day as a treat. I know that it is junk, but it is nice to have a little sweetness!
Does anyone have any views on caffeine and weightloss? I have been having a couple of cups of black coffee each day and I am hoping this is OK?
Yes please feel free to use the recipe :-)
Currently planning my weeks dinners and thinking
Tonight: roast chicken with cauli and brocolli cheese
Wed: Shepherds pie with cauli and celeriac topping
Thu: Lamb roganjosh (have a wonderful recipe but need to work out carbs, thereis 150g of yoghurt in it between 4/5 potions...) with cauli
Fri: Steak with celeriac chips and peppercorn sauce!
Trying to do a soup each day for lunch and an egg for breakkie!
Desperate for a weight loss as the scales haven't shifted in 2 days..but this may be due to the weekend's gin and slimline tonics ;-)0
