A very good morning to you all
Checkout the time.. Fell asleep on sofa after work til 1am, just had a hot shower and am wide awake
I have had good intentions but have been failing miserably
Been a bit down (work) though so thats not helping and i just wanna scoff breaktime.
Wanted to sell some shares for a holiday but they're way to low atm
Also fancied a red sea cruise but todays news has put the dampers on that little plan atm too
I really must dig out the sad lamp and make time to use it to see if my mood improves.
Ah well, back to my boring existence :whistle:0 -
Oh I could cry....... OH grumpy last night. Nearly made me fall off wagon after a good day: offered me a big bottle of Budweiser too, which I managed to resist. Had a cuppa and an Atkins choccie bar instead :A Just wrote long post and lost it. Cream just curdled in my coffee.. (drinking it anyway: tastes okay....)
Woke up feeling miserable. Decided if Ketostix didn't turn I'd have toast: so I did
We don't have to be in Ketosis to lose, right.....?
Hi sofababa and Buttonmoons
Next week must drink more water, make sure I have no alcohol, and work out the carbs in the veg I want to eat. They had chips (McCain fries. Yumm) last night with their pork steaks, and I had a baby mashed swede. No fair.
Oh now I'm late for getting ready for w*rk (gotta use that Sunny: always makes me smile).0 -
Hannoja (((hugs))) it can only get better from here

so far had 2 lc crackers with butter and cheese
lunch will be cottage pie with swede topping and sprouts and parsnips
tea i dont know yet0 -
Morning
Mazzers, I would give the lamp a go. You have nothing to lose by trying and hopefully it will make you feel better x
Honnoja, well done staying away from the budweiser. Forget about the toast, it was just a blip and your past it now
Hope you are feeling better Mercy, I must of missed reading that last night x
For everyone who is struggling at the moment , remember how far you have come and try not to be too hard on yourself as it will make things spiral. How about trying to set yourself smaller targets to get back on track. Say getting through until 6pm with no naughty slips ups, then allow yourself to eat without the guilt as YOU made it. Then start increasing the time as your resolve comes back.:A
I'm on a lc cooking fest today, making/preparing the meals for the next few days. Least I will be once I finish this yummy mug of fruit tea. Only 0.3 carbsLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
Hi all!
Serious use of vitamin C sorted the sneezing out and I feel rather good today:j
I too am on a cooking jag today. The coconut muffins were very nice once cold. Just had one for brek with an option on another soonThe erythritol did the job nicely I am pleased to say
Today will be making a pot of chicken, bacon and veg spicy broth for lunches. Roasting some belly pork, maybe having a go at breakfast muffins too (though this may be a little ambitious). Also baking a pack of asda gluten free 97% pork sausies which contain only a 'trace' of carbs.
Between all that I'll have Breakfasts and eve meals for 3-4 days. Should get 5 lunches from the broth. Have 1 curry and 1 beef stew lunch in the freezer so choices. Will likely make a curry in the week for improved lunch choice and will not then need to cook any next weekend.:rotfl:
Organisation really is the key.
Happy Sunday!

Mazzers, try some vit D for the SAD thing as well as your light. I've been using D for a few years now and no longer get SAD or serious bouts of the downs.
Hope you feel better soon
