Hi all,
Good day to-day. eggs, cheese etc etc and prawns to-night. Weight staying same. One of those weeks but staying focused. Heading away for weeks hols on Wed til next Wed so I'll be off the radar but I will stay lc as much as possible - with the possible exception of vino!!! Car trouble -which means getting to airport difficult but as long as I get away I'm not too worried about getting home from airport. Off thread - my son lost his new mobile at weekend -bought my gf at Xmas-I had call just now on my mobile from person who found phone and went thro' his numbers and found 'mother' on his list and phoned to return phone - isn't that great - restores faith in people - I always say there are more good people out there than bad - thank goodness!!!!
Take care all and stay lc!!!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0 -

Morning Peeps
i`ve been absent for a couple of days but am still ok, i`m still overdoing the nuts but they are starting to lose their appeal now. I do that quite a bit - have fads on one food or another and can`t seem to leave it alone.
Yesterdays meal plan was a bit strange as i didn`t have time for brekkie so had an early lunch instead, Brekkie/dinner was keema mince and tea was sausage casserole with cabbage and swede.
Snacks were nutsand dark choccy.
Today will be better, brekkie will be bacon scramblies and mushrooms and dinner will be a sandwich - probably ham with a scraping of mustard.
If i get of my behind soon tea will be chicken chasseur and cheesy leeks.
I need to meal plan for the next few days to get myself organised, i need to make some space in the freezer so i think that i`ll defrost some of the beef minute steaks and the enormous chicken thats hiding in there and then i`m planning on making new freezer lists of contents tomorrow so that i can see exactly what we`ve got, think i`ll need me glovelies on for that
Last late shift today and i`m only here now because i woke on the sofa where i plonked myself down last night, usually i get some more time to myself on this shift but not this time. I`m not sure where the last week has gone really as it seems to have just flown by!
Anyhow, nice to see that everyone is still here and being good
I`ll toddle off and make another cuppa, have a smashing day peeps

I'm now into week 2 and have just weighed myself (I know I shouldn't have, my weigh day is Friday) and I seem to have put on half a pound since Friday  I don't see how I can have, my appetite is completely gone, I have to practically force myself to eat most days. I'm drinking plenty of water (between 2.5 and 3l a day).
This has really deflated my optimism
Also, I'm not going to the loo everyday. I'm not taking anything as I thought the psyllium husk capsules seemed rather pricey (I'm on a budget), is there something else you would suggest, what do you take? If the psyllium is what I need then I'll get it.
Thanks0 -
Sofababe - are you eating enough to keep your metabolismburning away? I`m like this occasionally and when i start to snack more often it helps to restart the loss, having said that i`m at the stalling stage weightloss wise but getting noticeably smaller around my waist ie my jeans are looser and i can now draw the belt a bit tighter.
The lc bread seems to keep me regular, i used to have problems in that area too.

Didn't do bad yesterday. Didn't have anything 'naughty', drank a bit more water; kept up the exercise. Am going to keep notes here this week to see if it helps in any way.
B: 2 chilli frankfurters with a splash of (normal) ketchup
L: Prawn cocktail with lettuce and chilli flakesRather a large portion of 'Brociflower cheese' (huge slab of cheese, double cream, tsp. English mustard, pepper)
Other: 2 cups of decaf. tea with unsweetened Alpro, 1 cup decaf. coffee with a sweetener and double cream, 3-4 pints of water.
Exercise: Half hour aerobic, half hour Yoga. Oh and the usual hour's doggie walk
Off to do today's exercise now.
Have a good day folks!0 -
hiya
well, i am back. after being so good over xmas and new year, i went a bit wrong on our holiday. but in my defence i made a huge effort with meals (whilst watching everyone eating pizza) but after a few drinks on an evening the box of choccies kept coming out! then we got home i just pigged on everything and anything. pizza, chips - everything! asthma been really bad and 5-7lb gain.
so yesterday i started again.
b- omlette
l- mince with onions, celery, tinnned toms (huge portion)
t- chicken salad
snacks - cheese, pickled onions, ham slices, peperoni slices
today i am having
b - omlette
l- mince as above (half portion with salad)
t- mince as above (half portion with broccoli)
i am only having it twice today cos kids having spag bol for tea so have to have something that looks similar and just didnt didnt fancy anything else for lunch. its my new fav meal!
snacks - as above
even though my carbs are higher than probably should be, it is from veg and tinned toms so not too concerned. if i dont lose by doing this i will look into it further but hopefully i should be ok.
i am still trying to get hubby on it. he wants to be 'buff' for our holiday in june so he has so far cut out alcohol. only having sandwiches when he goes into work (salad if at home working) and i have cut down his potatoes and fill his plate up with extra salad or veg much to his disgust! :rotfl:
Hannoja- i reallyfancy prawn cocktail now. will have to add that to my shopping list next week. :rotfl:
Sofababe - i always found the water keeps me regular, are you getting enough veg to help.0 -
My meals yest were a bit of a higgle piggle!
B - 2 small poached eggs, 1 big mushroom, half a tomato (i dropped other half on floor lol) and baby leaf spinach.
L - Mince, salad, pickled onions
D - Same as lunch
Snack - Packet of peanuts.
Didnt feel hungry at all today but have forced down a small tuna salad and chomped on a piece of chicken breast.0 -
watched the beginning of 'obese - a year to save my life ' this poor woman was 34 stone , showed her struggling to have a shower and her little daughter having to wash her
how sad . i havent seen the end so im hoping whatever she did worked . cant imagine how that must affect your life being so overweight
made my resolve a little stronger to keep to lc
so far today ive had . 2 eggs and mushrooms
lunch was cheese toms ham and natural greek yog
tea ,DD1 is going to cook and i think its eggs bacon and mushrooms again lol
at work and i do struggle as there is a table groaning under the weight of biscuits and chocolates  so far i have resisted0 -

There's your explanation. Food in transit.
What do you actually eat? Maybe more green veg would help?Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
