Not done too badly... eggs for brekkie, BLT for lunch was lush and just had chilli on ribboned courgette with a side of bread and butter, didnt remove the red beans from the chilli but will be stricter tomorrow.

The bread on that link from DM is the first proper lc bread i made, it is lovely but too much hassle for my liking.

Sistercas, if you want cheaper almonds, Tesco has those 'west end'
almonds on the ethnic aisle, they were half price but are still good value at £5.99 for a huge 800g bag.

Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing ok.
Had salmon, broccoli, turnip and a big flat mushroom all in a creamy sauce stuff with a little sweet chili sauce for dinner this evening. OH had veggie sausages instead of salmon. Getting more motivated now. Intend to remain as focused as I can.

    Evening :)

I shall be much more focused now i've got my bread made.
First time i've had no heartburn since before xmas :)

Having two small glasses of red to use up a bottle that has been open for a few days and then i will be avoiding alcohol for a while.

Two rashers of bacon cooling ready for tomorrows BLT for lunch, soup for break no 2 and buttery scrambled eggs for brekkie. Evening meal will likely be steak and buttery spinach.

Starting back always makes me feel good as i get positive vibes :D
A dose on my sad lamp should really lift me.
Roll on Wed when i should feel (and look) a lot less bloated :j

just having a quick catchup as i`ve not managed to post for a few days, i`ve been really good apart from today when i ate four slices of bacon around 9am and then about 9pm was when i next ate and i had kebab and chips :o Think i`m going to treat myself to a beer and then crawl back onto the wagon tomorrow.

On the plus side i`ve lost 7lb altogether since new year and the extra notch that i was using on my belt has now gone back down to the previous one :hello:

Day off tomorrow and i have a huge list of things to do, i just seem too busy these past few days - when i sit down i fall asleep and its usually quite late too and then i`m up early again the next day, hopefully i`ll get back into the opposite shift routine tomorrow just in time for my shifts to change over.

A huge :hello: to all the new posters

Mazzers - great to see that you`re back on form, hope that everything housey is sorted soon.

Beanrua - Well done! Great loss.

I`m off to check my email, i`m dreading it really as i`ve not checked for a couple of days so there`s bound to be loads

    Happy lcing peeps

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

off to make the bread again

Hey...without giving me your full address (!!!!!-people would talk!!!)-where in West Yorks are you? Could send you some adressses....x:j

Something sweet....! Take my original bread recipe...one xtra egg-no water...185gm ground almonds...200gm frozen berries, 20 tsp splenda...1/2 tsp salt, 15gm cocoa....bake 170 for 1hr (my oven bakes lower so test after 40 mins that middle is firmish)...made this up & only 33 carbs/loaf-2.2 carbs for a 40 gm slice! I don't like things too sweet so some may up the splenda..nice combo of sharp fruit & cocoa. Decent strawberry esscence would be nice i guess?

If i remember there are some asian shops in balby in Doncaster??

If you fancy a 1/2 day out...go to http://www.haqhalal.co.uk/ on the outskirts of Bradford. Picture looks like it's small-but it's very big inside & very very cheap.
