Evening everyone
Sunnyday, have you tried the baisics frozen cauli before? I'm just wondering what it is like.
Mirry, well done on staying the same weight over christmas.:j:T
I was off work today so have been able to prepare loads to get us through until I am off on Sunday again.
Jalopeno fudge made for brekkies, a soup made for lunches, & Beef & broccolli casserole prepared in the slow cooker for OH to put on in the morning. It makes coming home so much better if I know I have yummy food awaiting me

Some of the packs of pepperamis are half price at Tesco right now, if this helps anyone.
My new 'tool' to get me back on the low carb bandwagon arrived today.....my new shiny George Foreman grill and griddle. I got a super bargain off Amazon getting it at £35. The next day I was going to post about it on grab it whie you can, went to double check it....and it had gone back up to £59.99 !!!!!! So I was lucky. Last time I looked it was on sale at £54.99
If anyone has any recipes like burgers, kebabs etc please let me know.0 -

.
I don't think that frozen cauli is quite as nice but its a very good second best and i think that i'll carry on using it tbh as its much more convenient.
I've just eaten mine smothered in cheese and black pepper
It was the Morri$ons value bag that i got and i think that the only difference between that one and the more expensive bag is that the pieces are smaller in the value one.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Had another good day - have avoided any HC stuff and now drinking water whilst trying hard to pretend it tastes like white wine!
Bought another cauli to make the cheesy thing and will make some carrot and coriander soup tonight to have over the weekend.
Already my rings are loose and clothes beginning to feel loose.
Happy to hear that others are doing fine. :T0 -
Made a huge dish of veggie mince, cauli, brocoli and cream and cheese stuff - hopefully enought to do to-morrow evening as well. Used Asda frozen cauli - didn't mash it this time - just battered it a bit with a wooden spoon - just for a change of texture. Put a little sweet chili sauce on it.
Will weigh myself in the morning - hoping to have lost what I put on over Xmas - or some of it anyway.
Somebody called to-day with a box of chocolates for me!!!!!!! and I love the purple ones out of that tin - right up my street!!!:eek:Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0 -
Everyone doing fine 'cept me, cant get focussed atm, it's freezing here and i'm eating to keep warm (excuses excuses i know) also got limited appliances atm as dont want to overload on extension leads, so been eating unhealthy things in work.
SD, i asked if it could be the mains box causing the problem but was informed prob not if it's tripping the same switch.. I shall be posing the question again tho
I'm in bed with my new soft fleecy bed jacket on cwtched up under the quilt.. bliss
Hope we dont get a really cold spell til it's sorted!!0 -
Morning everyone!
Mazzers, it is difficult to get into the 'zone' and that's what I sometimes struggle with, especially during the winter when it's easy to slip into the 'eating for comfort' mood. Take baby steps, then middling steps and then leap into giant steps and go cold turkey!
Slept a bit later today and now sitting here munching on a lump of Emmental and got half a dozen almonds waiting to be next. Will have my yoghurt after the decorator has been.
Lunch: carrot and coriander soup with a kabanos sausage and sour cream
Evening: probably our usual Chinese takeaway but I don't have the rice or chip.
Lots and lots of LC alcohol - AKA tap water - will be drunk too!
Good luck to everyone here today - hope you have a happy Friday!
