I dont have many options for snacks aside from pork scratchings. found some 'fridge raiders' on offer in sainsburys earlier and they're actually pretty tasty http://www.mattessons.co.uk/?page_id=212 . about 2g carbs in a 65 g bag. was hard to stop at half a bag though !!

anyone got any other suggestions ? I tried polish sausage (kabanos) but they were a bit grissly and tough skin which put me off !!
We love cooked cocktail sausage. Pepperamis, ham rolled with cream cheese. Egg mayo etc. I could go on & on, what are your favourite foods & we can help you adapt? :)

Dinner, Spam coated in parmesan, deep fried. Like a fritter. Served with salad

Debtmonkey, thanks so much for that bread recipe, I'm going to try it. Let us know if you find a stockist for the Irwins bread, as I live close to Huddersfield too ;)

E-mailed Irwins & they don't deliver to mainland-just Ireland. Best bet is to ask a supermarket to order it. Tried tescos-they can't-might try ASDA or Sainsburys. Burgen linseed & soy (Sainsburys & Tesco in Hudds) is 10.9 a slice which is nor bad. Try the Asian shops in Thornton lodge -or prably even cheaper-ZACS supermarket on the outskirts of Bradford for unground linseeds.

    Another morning in LC land!

Last September at a colleague's wedding I broke a tooth on a particularly delicious piece of pork scratching.

Yesterday was a good day for me too - drank plenty of water, ate only LC stuff and had my walk. The walk was really enjoyable though I didn't join in with the actual Health Walk - when I got there it was mostly couples and a load had Nordic walking sticks and rucksacks. I thought it was a gentle hour's walk not crossing the Andes so I set off on my own!

    Today's fuel:
    Breakfast: yoghurt and blueberries

Lunch: unknown - am meeting a colleague at a Costa so will probably settle for a decaf latte though I have a portion of cauli cheese mash left

    Evening: probably bacon and eggs

Hope everyone is keeping their spirits up.

    :)

Walked thro' all torrential rain to all the shops looking cauliflower - none at all!!!!! Wanted to make veggie mince thing with mashed cauli - I use so much cauli -and I came home soaked and dejected!!! only to remember I had some frozen cauli in freezer for emergencies such as this - why didn't I remember before I started on a wild goose chase thro' high winds and lashing rain.
Feeling more energetic and glad to be be back 100% lc - why I ever thought those sausage rolls etc etc were worth it I'll never know.

To be honest the price of caulis and the ones I recieve in my Tesco order (I use online shoppin for health reasons) have been awfull, so this week I bought fozen cauliflower anyway. I am looking forward to trying the cauli mash.

Celery filled with cream cheese or no added sugar peanut butter is nice.

Day 5 for me , had a doctors appointment at 7 am this morning ,
walked there and back. Then set off tothe local co op and found big packets of ham £2.99 reduced to 69p , so I got 6 packs to freeze.
Then walked the dog for an hour. Just had a hot chocolate drink made using Tesco's value cocoa powder at 0.8g carb per teaspoon:D. I dont know if I mentioned that I weighed myself yestuday ?

I am exactly the same weight i was before xmas which is amazing.
I started my weight loss journey mid november at 11 stone 8.5
and started thyroid treatment. Now I am 10 stone 13lb :j. I am only 5ft 1 , so a long way to go yet.

tonight I am going to try the zero carb noodles in a stir fry :o.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Had someone to look at the electrics but we are puzzled
Unplugged eveything, still tripping, five mins later it's working, plugged everything back in, chopping veg for tea fifteen mins later and all off again :(

Got no gas heating either coz it's an electric pump :(

Could the fault be at the fusebox end of things? I was reading a few weeks ago about someone in a similar situation and their problem turned out to be a faulty RCD or circuit breaker (can't remember which) in the fuse box that was tripping at random, once this was replaced the tripping stopped. Bit of info HERE

Hope that you get it fixed soon.

I`ve just had half a bag of mixed nuts for a snack, today so far brekkie was bacon, scramblies and mushrooms with sausages. Dinner was another 4 pieces of bacon and some pate on the last piece of lc bread, tea should be frying steak with broccolli and cauliflower cheese.

I`ve given up with the fresh cauliflower for the time being, the ones in the shops last week were tiny and were almost a quid so i opted for the frozen bag of value cauli at 75p :D Its all going to get mashed up anyway so it doesn't matter if the pieces are small.

Think i`ll have a nap as i can hardly keep my eyes open, too noisy to sleep last night with everything banging around so i need a catchup.

Have a good afternoon everyone
