how bad are noodles for carbs? I really need to get my diet sorted now or I am going to spend the rest of my life being over weight. I have lost weight before and maintained for a long long time, but due to different circumstances over the last year or so I've really piled it on again. I'm thinking low carb as it seems to have worked for me in the past. Looking for ideas of things that I can eat for b & l at work.

Are there any low carb bread products you would reccomend? I wouldn't mind having something like egg mayonaise for breakfast but I don't think that I could eat it on its own

I've noticed :naughty:, & Sunnyday & Adelight are missing also. Come on ladies, you know you want to come back now :p

    Hi Lantanna :)

Noodles are not good carb wise:eek: What sort of facilities do you have at work? Microvave, fridge etc? If you scroll back there are a few different bread options but I like to use just ham or lettuce leaves in the place of bread.

hi everyone , Are we all ready for a new year L Carbing ?

I was a little bit naughty over xmas , but have not weighed myself yet :o ,trousers feel the same so fingers crossed.

Today is day 2 on my diet , for those who want low carb noodles, I have just ordered some shiraaki noodles at zero carbs , thought I would give them a try & also ordered some wraps @ 3 carbs each :D.

Popped into Iceland today and got 2 chicken fillets wrapped in bacon and cheese in a butter and leek sauce @ 1.5 carbs each.
I served with with cauliflower mash (mashed in cream cheese & cream), served with a few green beans. Omg it was amazing :T.

Made 3 batches of chilli con carne to freeze for emergancys.
Tomorrow I am making creamy chicken & vegtable curry for dinner.
I am just trying not to get caught out with meal ideas cos thats when I eat carbs:eek:.

    Good luck every one :)

    Hi Peeps

I`m back on the wagon and started afresh today, i`m on the early shift and i`m relying on the little and often approach for the next few days.

I`ve had several small meals/snacks spread out between 6am and 9pm today although i don`t really want to be eating as late as 9pm so i`ll adjust that before the week is out. So far i`ve eaten :-

    scramblies, mushrooms and gammon
lc bread slathered in butter and hm pate
    Protein shake
slice of gammon and a handful of nuts
More gammon, cheese, mayo, gherkins and one pickled onion :D

As you can see the gammon needs using up :p

I can`t really batch cook and get organised for the days ahead atm as the freezers are both rammed with carp but as i feed it to DH and clear some space i`ll start to do this again soon.

Yesterday's leftover roast beef with mushrooms and cheese and a little sweet chili sauce heated up in oven for me to-night. Glad to be more focused now.

That sounds yummy :) I'm so so hungry tonight yet I normally have a small appetite. I blame the carbs

Sunny, Mazzers, nice to have you back :T

I'm off for my 3rd trip to the fridge for celery & cream cheese! My gammon will be done soon, yummy :D

Def pp I blame the carbs - I was a bit worried it wouldn't fill me as I was really hungry and craved some roast potatoes or chips but tbh it was grand - the protein and fat made me feel full - just have to deal with the psychological aspects of roasties and chips. I probably need therapy for my addiction to chips - esp HM ones!!

Morning LCs - Mazzer keep lurking and getting inspired!

Wheels came off my wagon slightly last night as I slithered down the pole of white wine but managed to nibble on cheese as my resolve only weakened and didn't cave in completely.

    Today is:
    Breakfast - bacon and eggs
    Lunch - egg mayo
Tea - cauliflower cheesy thing with a couple of sausages.

    Fingers crossed for everyone.

    Back to bootcamp today.
Cheese and supplerments for brekkie, portion of hm curry for lunch, with some full fat Total yoghurt. Not sure what's for tea yet.
6lbs to lose just to get back to where I was before Xmas, and then still quite a lot more to go to get to target..
