Hi Gers! Lunches DO take more organising....can you get Irwins 7 seeded bread where you are? 6.7 carbs a slice-so a sandwich would be ok! As I can't get it locally-somethin I could do would be use ONE slice of Burgens Soy/linseed bread (10.9 carbs)-cut in 1/2 & make a big stacked Sandwich! Ryvia with sesame (5.8 carbs)-ONE with loads of cheese/ham is a good one. I agree-its lunches that need more planning-breakfast & dinners are easy.

I`ve been keeping a low profile and lurking - have y`all noticed :p

    I have ;):p

I got on the scales two days ago and i`m surprised that i`ve not broken them :rotfl:

Just back from the shops and i`ve stocked up on some lc food for next week, not sure whether it will be Monday or Tuesday when i start but i`m ready for it :D I feel like a stuffed pig atm and i`m uncomfortable a lot of the time as i`m so bloated, in one way i can`t wait to get started again and in another i want to finish all the carp that is knocking about in the house - i`ll just shovel whats left down DH i think :D
    Me too!
I managed to get today and tomorrow off w*rk :j We were planning to take Dad out to the pub tonight but he`s not too well and wants to veg out in front of the telly so think that DH & i will probably just go down to the local pub later, too late to make new plans now.

Now that i`ve sat down i don`t want to get up again :o
I really need to go upstairs and drill some holes for the new curtain pole but i`m not sure whether i will or not, i`ve got absolute 80`s on the radio and feel like chilling but i know that i only feel like this because of all the rubbish that i`ve eaten recently.

Think i`ll finish off that huge bar of galaxy thats in the cupboard before i decide what to do

Hope that everyone has a lovely new year!

    See you in 2012 xxx

Hopefully last day, must get some resolve for tomorrow.

    Happy New Year everyone!
Making dinner for 10 of us to-night and then that's the end of festivities for me!- Jeans are def tighter and am feeling very sluggish.
debtmonkey - perhaps if you telephone Irwins they could let you know if anywhere near you keeps the bread.

Thanks for that DM but I don't crave bread and don't want to go back to eating it - one small move from Irwins bread to crunchy cripsy sourdough bread, toasted with strawberry jam melting into it! Will revert to what I know best and like most - rolls of parma ham with cream cheese in the middle. I can leave them in the office fridge if I have to be there more than one day. On my travels I'll get a lunchbox with space for an icepack and hope that it all stays fresh!

    Hi Mercy & Gers :)

Thanks for the welcome - it's good to be posting again.

Today I've made a huge amount of the delicious cauliflower/cream cheese/ cheese concotion. Trimmed off the crispy bits for quality control reasons :o ) and will portion it all up to freeze. I've also made an equally amount of egg mayo (to use up some eggs mainly) and will portion that up for my daily breakfasts this week - am not away at all until next week so need to make sure there is plenty of LC food to hand.

Bacon and eggs for lunch today (more using up eggs) and then my evening meal is ready to. aAs I cooked the cauliflower I put in some strips of belly pork in the same oven and they have cooked and crisped up beautifully - I am now making a HUGE effort to ignore them and leave them for my meal.

Hope to read about others' positive progress later this week. I'm off to sit in front of the TV for a Dr Who fest of recorded programmes. :j:j

    Hi all!

Been good so far, scrambled eggs and ham for breakfast.

I'm going to make some flax crackers as there's a nice amount of brie knocking about :)

Cutting back down the coffee and back on the green tea - it's all I drink when at work so I need to get back into that. Lots of water today too, need to flush out the baileys toxins :o

I'm dreading getting on the scales tomorrow

Beanrua, I feel the same. All bloated & not myself.:(

I've already made tomorrows dinner as I am out all day visiting family/friends. Spicy Roman stew.

Mercy, I like Twinnings fruit teas as well as green tea. 0.3g a cup :j

Dinner for 10 here to-night now over - sad in a way as I love having all my children and their partners all together.
    To-morrow's intentions;
    B - back to porridge
l - lc bread and eggs
D - roast beef and cauli and broccoli for me - quorn for OH.
No Bailey's - ever again - I hate Bailey's - nothing to do with how I felt this morning!!!!
