hanooja great that you're getting active again! sadienardini does brilliant yoga videos on youtube for different levels and target areas and different lengths.

Sorry guys but I caved! I got back to birmingham for xmas and had some rocky road ice-cream! I'm going to try to keep it healthy for the rest of the holidays getting carbs from veg, fruit and oats, but won't be LC again until the 27th. Okay, apart from chocolate on xmas day! I'll be doing lots of bodyrock though :) Good luck over xmas everyone!!
Is anyone eating carbs totally freely over xmas or still counting a bit? Like 80g? Or eating only certain ones like me?

pink princess i think LC will be a change for life for me too, what's the point in buying clothes if I'm going to slim out of them anyway? ;) Happy LC day everyone!

at-a-girl adelight -That's the attitude I took in the summer - I kept saying to myself I'm not buying any more fat clothes!!! and I didn't! unless it was really neccessary and usually out of a charity shop - as I presuaded myself that they would only be a temporary addition to my wardrobe.
Stocked up on lc bread to-day - 3 loaves on shelf so got all 3.
Had a few higher carb things the other night - went to bed and couldn't sleep at all - def didn't feel right - will probably try and be as lc as I can and am not going to worry if I slip but I'm not going to throw all my efforts overboard just for a few days at Xmas. Well that's the plan anyway but whose to say what will happen.
Get myself stressed cooking Xmas dinner for 10 esp as my son-in-law is a chef and me having to cater for lcarbers, veggies, fussy eaters etc etc- last night he offered to cook Xmas dinner:A -I tried to protest (not too vehemently I might add ;)) as he's on his holiday -but says he loves cooking and gave me strict orders to relax in the bath with a glass of wine while he gets Xmas dinner sorted.:)
Perfect Xmas present and in my own home too!! Wonderful!!!! But now I'm thinking - was my previous cooking so terrible or is it really a gift from heaven!!! Good old paranoia!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope to try and keep up with all the posts but if not I wish you all a painfree, peaceful, lc Xmas.:)

We are not going to count or restrict anything for 2 days. If we want it we will eat it, I'm just not sure I can bring myself to eat potatoes, crisps etc.:o My husband will really over do the chocolate I think. I don't actually like the stuff & think filo wrapped prawns will get me:p
It's christmas eat/drink anything you like but get back on track come the 27th or we will come to find you via pm :rotfl:

Beanrua- That's great, enjoy it. All that yummy food stress/effort free:j
Debtmonkey it's a mental thing to me. I have never had a good relationship with food & fear of weight gain is a big thing to me.

    Today was
Breakfast, bacon with cheese (oh) I didn't get time, the eggs are still in the fridge:rotfl:
Lunch, a handful of pork scratchings
Dinner, change of plan ended up whoopsied Salmon with chilli butter. These had a price of £4 from Tesco down to 0.80p:T We had 2 each & served with a few mushrooms.

Hope everyone is having a good day & getting excited for Santa coming:D I know our kids are :)

I'm not restricting anything either.. i'll start again in Jan.

Debtmonkey, i used to get pink ketostix after drinking but i think it was a false reading as i never lost weight back then despite being rigidly lc.

    I'm working 9-6pm tomorrow :(
Happy Christmas everyone, see you in the new year :)

Merry Christmas peeps :xmastree: see you in January!!

Me too but i think that everyone knows this already :rotfl:

The only thing that i`ve eaten that i really wish that i hadn't is crisps, they are my downfall and a years old addiction but i`ve started on them again. Its weird but i almost wish that it was all over so that i can start lcing again.

Busy day ahead - i was in @rgos as soon as it opened this morning and now i`m off out with the woofaloes. W*rk until late and then i`ll be free for two days :D I`m going to make the prawn cocktail in advance so that i don`t have everything to do tomorrow.

    Best make a move :D

Have a happy, merry and wonderful Christmas everyone :xmastree::rudolf::xmassmile:xmassign::santa2:

pinkprincess, having a bath with a few cups of epsom salts dissolved in it reduces bloating a bit. gets rid of that puffy feeling.

After eating carbs yesterday I feel awful today, I am so bloated and puffy! My jeans have gone from being too loose and falling down as I walk to muffin top! Will it go down after a few days??
I had a LC breakfast (duck eggs- yum!!!) and plan to do some exercise later. I'm going to use a tabata to do some squat intervals and hold stretches and positions like plank, squat, bridge etc. I would love to go for a long walk but I've hurt my foot and can't walk on it(had a rather dodgy limp to get home!), but can stand still with no pain?! I think I've torn a ligament or "subuluxed" my cuboid bone. I went to an nhs walk-in thursday but they weren't interested because I hadn't had a specific accident, told me to take a paracetamol! Well i've been doing that and R.I.C.E for 3 days and it's worse if anything and my sis thinks I should go to do a diff walk-in (she's a medical student). Blah blahhhhhh!!

That is exactly how I'm feeling. Hubby made me 2 pieces of toast for breakfast & then 2 rolls with prawn mayo for lunch - far too much bready stuff - I actually prefer my lighter LC brekkies & lunches :doh:although it was nice to get everything made for me ;)

Jumped on here whilst waiting for my paracetamol to kick in & then realised I hadn't actually taken it because it was the soluble stuff & I was waiting for it to dissolve :o Think I'm losing the plot. I blame the carbs!!

adelight, hope your foot is better, did you go to another walk-in?? I've been taking paracetamol for my shoulder, it doesn't take the pain away completely but takes the edge off it. I've got some co-codamol for tonight - I'm determined to get a good night's sleep so hopefully that will knock me out!! :rotfl:

    Right, I'd better get wrapping...

PHEW I'm all done. Meat is marinading, sausages are wrapped in bacon on the tray, veg prepared. With 30 minutes before the kids get back.:j

I might need to try that bath on the 27th Adelight:rotfl:Hope your foot is better x

I've been so spoiled at work today, my friends husband arrived with a prawn & king prawn salad for me all home/lc prepared:T (shame a bottle of wine came with it);)

Have a great christmas everyone, I'll be back on the 27th :A:p
