whoo hoo thank you. will get them next time i go shopping :D

i have never tried lc bread even when i made it. not because i dont like bread but because i think if i have it, i will have too much so if i dont miss it then why risk the gluttony. (i can eat a whole loaf of tiger bread in one go  but if i stop for a while i dont miss it) but it was the only thing that made hubby stick to it for as long as he did. might look at making it again and trying to get him low carbing again, he has quite alot of weight to lose.

I'm the same with bread, especially tiger loaf, but reason that if i do have toast for breakfast, bread for lunch and bread at dinner at least it's lc and less than 10g per meal :)
I'm lost without bread tbh, never eaten a lot of spuds, chips, rice or pasta.
I dont have it at every meal but it's there when i want a quick sarnie and it stops me (at least it used to!!) grabbing a pasty or sausage roll which i have in the fridge for my sons :p

Sunnyday - are gherkins low carb? are they the jarred ones as all the ones i find dont have carb counts on. i was looking today. have a lovely 12 days off. got anything nice planned?

Nuttybabe - The gherkins that i have are the ones from @ldi, just been in the kitchen to look and can`t remember what i read on the jar :o think that they are 2.6g carbs per 100g but will double check later.

The only things that i have planned are on a huge list that has built up over the last few months, lots of jobs that have been left and really need sorting out like the door into the kitchen that no longer closes and needs taking off the hinges, planeing, rehanging and painting etc you get the idea lol. There are jobs like that all over the house and i`d like to get them all done before Christmas. The plaster in the spare room is dry now and i can start to paint in there and i hope to get the architrave and skirting on too.

One of the first thing that i need to do is start to hunt for the prezzies that i have stashed away, there are things hidden all over the place and i`m not even sure where some of them are:o Ithink i`ll hunt down and wrap one persons prezzies each day until they`re all done:D

I drank a lovely can of draught guinness last night and gained 2lb:eek: Thats 5lb on in just a couple of days:eek: I can`t believe it, if i keep this up all week i`ll be bigger than before. *stamps foot*

I`m planning on making the beef and chorizo chilli recipe in the slow cooker today that was on a link that someone posted a few pages back that i can`t find anymore :o I`ve a feeling that it was lindens who posted the lidle treats link and i found it in the lc section there. Thanks to lindens or whoever did post it as it sounds lovely.

Well its pitch black and raining outside as well as being windy and zero degrees, i`m going to have to brave it shortly and walk the woofaloes but i`m not looking forward o it

As soon as its light i`m off into the shed to look for the paint, have good days everyone!

  • Morning everyone :)

Just a quickie as I'm feeling pretty carp today.

    B - protein shake
L - buttered crispbreads with topping, HM soup
    D - chilli & veg

Sausages need using up today as they've been open a couple of days so I'll cook them & have as a snack during the day if I'm hungry. If I'm not hungry the cat can have them, he won't say no.

    Happy LC days :)

Morning.. more painting later, there's not much light on the landing tho so it's gonna be difficult :(

Was soo windy and dismal here yesterday, my bins blew away and my large (and heavy) potted conifer blew over.
I thought my painting would've been patchy as it was even darker than today, but am pleasantly surprised this morning.

I ended up being hungry and wanting something quick so i scoffed a burger yesterday and that was the downward spiral.
    Back to lc today.

Was thinking too, i could get the breadmaker going and remove the dough to make bread rolls :j real burgers plus the bun :)

SD, i ordered 4kg of gluten... so long may the breadmaking continue!

Oooh, the sun is coming out, i'm off to paint :cool2:

Yep - tis the same linky :D Great minds and all that :D

I`ve not even started painting yet, i`m trying to thaw out a bit first. Its freezing and hailing outside - the wind is evil and i nearly broke my neck on the black ice:eek:

Couple of cuppas and then i`ll start, maybe have some scramblies first. It took me a good while to get the paint out of the shed as it was right at the back with loads of junk on top of it:eek:

Sistercas - Meadowhell :eek: You are indeed bonkers :rotfl:

Saying that i`ve painted all around the edges of the room with diluted paint and realised that i haven`t got a good sized roller and tray so had to go to Crystal Peaks

What a nightmare, i fell lucky with a parking space after two circuits of the car park and it was absolutely packed inside, i just grabbed a couple of rollers and some more paint and then legged it back to the car.

I`m having another cuppa and then i hope to be able to get at least the ceiling and the wall with the lightswitch painted whilst there is still enough light as its almost dark here atm.

If i can get those two painted then i can give them a second coat tomorrow and at least get the new switch and the light fitting up so that i can see in there.

I need to buy a vertical blind for that room and a new curtain pole too. Hopefully next week and then i`ll be drilling holes. Not sure what to do about the skirting and architrave atm, i did some at the last house and it was good but the doorway is angled so i`m not sure whether or not i should get someone in to do it or whether i`m up to it, don`t want to ruin it.

For brekkie i ended up having scramblies and mushrooms with melted cheese mixed into it on toast NOM!

    Phew.. i'm getting there :)

Had about fifteen tea breaks, not been very lc but couldn't face not having summin nice with all that painting to do.

Been very sunny thankfully so only just losing the light :)
Got loads done and upstairs is looking very fresh.

Still got all the glossing left to do but at least it's undercoated.. i even managed to get to the awkward bit near the ceiling above the staircase due to a brainwave i had :D

Still got the hallway to do though :(:( and my shoulder, wrist and neck are aching, wont be redoing it for at least ten years!!

Hey, i thought this was the low carb thread :o
