Hi Peeps
Hellooo to all the new posters :hello:
i got the excess pound off today so i was pleased when i got on the scales :j
Back to a stone loss now after yo-yoing again lol, i`ve really only got myself to blame as i was awful again yesterday so how the heck its dissappeared again i`ll never know:rotfl:
As soon as i got to work the roses were doing the rounds and i ate about 8:o was ok and only ate what i should have until about 7pm and then ate most of a large bar of choccy so you can see why the reading on the scales has me a bit puzzled.
TOTM too and one week early  I was quite pleased last month as i completely skipped it - maybe the diet is influencing me in more ways than one. Its weird as last night i felt a bit bloated and this morning i feel thinner - maybe its just my mind playing tricks on me
I`ve not managed to eat anything yet but my tum is grumbling so it won`t be long, i`ve walked the woofaloes and done some more gardening and i have been cooking veg on and off to store in a tub in the fridge and then i can quickly assemble some meals and nuke them later at w*rk, so far i`ve done cabbage, leeks, carrots, onions, pointy red peppers, broccolli and courgettes. I also have a lovely big FR chicken in the oven so we should be set for 3 days without me having to fuss around before my shift starts. Dh will be eating most of the carrots and onions though.
I didn`t bother with the wine last night as i was sooo tired when i got home that i went straight to bed, i`ll probably be the same tonight and i think that its all the extra fresh air that i`m getting whilst in the garden.
Sweet - Very interesting about the horseradish thanks:D Think that i`ll be having some more today:D When i did SW for a while i found that if i ate tuna then that always made me lose but it doesn`t seem to work on LC.
Right i`m off to check on the chicken - hope that its almost ready as i`ve loads to do!
Have good lc days peeps:wave:
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
M&S salsa is lovely - really chunky!
Forgot to ask if it's fresh or in a jar??i got the excess pound off today so i was pleased when i got on the scales :j

Woohoo, well done

Funny you should mention tuna, I made tuna mayo sandwiches for my DD's packed lunches today & really fancied some myself, so I'm going to try a lovely big blob of full fat tuna mayo on buttered crispbreads for lunch  If that goes down well I'll try it with salmon mayo with spring onions another time.
Hello peeps
Won't be going out for a walk along the seafront today as DD2 is off school poorly & it's pouring with rain anyway - so much for the blooming weather forecast!! I'm going to spend the afternoon doing housework & swapping bedrooms around instead - should work off a few calories.
I would really like/need a glass of wine tonight but I'm likely to be DD1's personal chauffeur so will have to wait for a drink until tomorrow nightHowever, if DD2 is feeling better later I might be going to see 'Jason Grimshaw' from Corrie switching on the Christmas lights in the town near us so that can be the 'highlight' of my evening!! :rotfl:
Happy LC days everyone0 -

M&S salsa is fresh
Oooh, I'm glad about that, I don't like the jars
The tuna mayo on buttered crispbreads was deeeeelicious!! I ended up having 3 crispbreads because there was an odd number & I was pretty stuffed afterwards as I used a whole tin of tuna (with 25g mayo). Will definitely have that again
Having 'daisy's chicken pie' for dinner with green beans & I'll have some whole plain almonds for supper (without the wine boohoo).
Have a good weekend everyone0 -
Hi folks, been really tired, work is hectic.
Sweet i've never seen almonds in home bargains, will have to have a good look, it's a good price but Tesco beats it this time due to the offer, works out at about 21p for 2oz..
There's been bowls of free halloween caramel choccys in the canteen today so i've been a bit of a pig i'm afraid.
The bread is going down a treat i must admit, hopefully it's not going to stall me.
I made a loaf with nut flours and less gluten and flax this time, didnt rise as much but wasn't so 'spongey' either, looks like i'm having a normal sandwich in work, tastes pretty good too0 -

The HB almonds are where the crisps/popcorn are - I get the plain but you can get roasted & salted (which I think were lower carb for some reason??). The Tesco offer is brilliant, I forgot to look when I was in there the other day so will have a look on Monday.

Hmmm, I'm thinking it might be the caramel choccys that stall you!! :rotfl::rotfl: Hopefully you'll get away with it though if everything else you've eaten has been LC, don't want you undoing all your hard work
Morning all
Will have my protein shake for brekkie & I've decided to have salmon & spring onion mayo with buttered crispbreads for lunch  Not sure what to have for dinner yet, probably chicken again
Hope everyone has a good day today

What a brilliant loss, how long has it taken to lose that amount?
I`ve bookmarked the crazy cabbage recipe as it looks nice and tasty, thanks for sharing:DHi folks, been really tired, work is hectic.

Same here with w*rk atm, i just don`t seem to have enough hours in the day right now. I`m loving the bread too:D I`ve just made a loaf this morning and weirdly only one side rose well so i have a sloping loaf lol, will be taking some weird shaped sandwiches in later in the week.
The tins of roses are still on the go at w*rk and i pigged again yesterdayI also had a glass of wine last night and this morning the scales still read the same as yesterday so i`m wondering if all my badness will catch up on me at once:eek:
Brekkie today (just eating now) is 1 slice of beef with horseradish, one of ham, two gherkins and some smoked cheese.
Dinner will be a sandwich and tea is more chicken and veg, i have some dark choccy and nuts to try and tempt me away from the roses later:D

It's taken me around 3 months to lose my three stone :-), but its really slowing down now since i'm eating a lot more carbs. Just another few pounds and ill be at my target weight :-) Just looking for inspiration for dinner tonight now...........0

Tired out again, bloody fed up of work.. taking the mickey they are
Was doing great until 5pm, then i just couldnt face going back to the grind on a bowl of soup so i had beans and chips.. and a topic!
Weighed this morning though and hadn't gained so hopefully the hectic schedule will have helped me avoid gaining today too..0
