my last one was 4.3 on a reduced carb diet (about 100g a day)
unfortunately 51% of people who get CVD/CHD have low cholesterol
its small dense LDL that clogs the arteries and they do not measure for this0 -

Hi Gers
Thread not used much it seems.
Did soo much baking today ( all l/c for me) forgot how fab some of the recipes are, i now have lasagne, butter chicken, mexican 'fudge' and butternut squash soup in the fridge, as well as loads of berries for yogurt dessert.
Aldi has such cheap prices on berries atm and the whole large squash was only 89p.
Sorted for the week0 -

Still on l/c, lost 8lbs now
Really enjoying the stuff i cooked, the lasagne is fab.
Yogurt and berries/nuts is a great dessert too.
Paid £1.99 in Tesco for a few blackberries, and just noticed some brambles growing on the garage roof, got me ladder out and have just collected four times as many in 15mins :T0 -

Hiya
Got a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.
First, I've decided to start trying to drink one cup of green tea a day. BUT it's vile and I'd like to know if theres a way to make it nice. If we're out of milk I can drink black tea no probs but this stuff is horrid... I tried a bit of honey but it's not nice
Second, my weight is slowly creeping up and I know it's my dodgy eating habits!! I was looking at eating less carbs but I'm finding it a bit hard to know what to eat. Most (nearly all) of the advice I've found on the net is based on eggs for breakfast and I can't eat eggs. I want to get back into Zumba and 30 day shred and I'm not scared of a bit of exercise. My problems are toast and mashed potatoesAnyone got advice on easy, nice low carb stuff, specially for breakfast to stop me munching toast?
ThanksEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I did atkins for a while. A short while. Very limited!
Ate a lot of eggs, mushrooms, onions, steak and bacon. And chicken. Cottage cheese.
Which diet are you doing, does it allow unlimited fruit as this is good for breakfast.
Slimming world is loads better mashed potato is perfectly fine to have. Along with all the above and regularly have bacon, eggs, beans, , potato cakes mushrooms etc. for brekkers. Or cereal and fruit. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
