oh treidandesprate are bananas allowed ? I thought they were high carb and I avoid them...
as for wheat ,,I feel I react badly to it Im sure it acts like a sponge and holds onto water I always seem heavier ....0 -
Bananas are high carb - 'tis a pity as they are my favourite fruit and for years and years I'd have one every morning for breakfast, in various ways.
Been so -very good this past week. Only one dip as I was being sick and 'thought' I needed some carbs to resort my balance. Probably didn't but seeing as how I didn't really enjoy them it's no bad thing.
Am totally off booze, and I mean 'off' as in not attracted to it. :j I've got myself back in the mindset of thinking of it as poison, along with sugary things.
Got loads of meat in the freezer which needs using up before I buy any fresh stuff. Made enough chilli (without kidney beans) and bolognaise sauce to feed me for a month. What with the huge pots of soup I've also made recently the freezer is my larder between now and Christmas.
I've 'stolen' the idea of oat bran and added it to every portion of my frozen meals, it's a good substitute thickener for flour as well as helping me keep my insides 'healthy'.
All I need to buy tomorrow or Tuesday is some double cream for my decaf coffee and I'm sorted.0 -
I've got into a good habit with drinking lots of water now and this is important on the celeb slim diet. I'm just about there with the low carb foods but I do still forget sometimes as well!0

Newbie to Low carbing here. I am currently 13.5 st and 5ft9. I have been left fairly incapacitated over the previous 4 months and piled the weight on...in addition to some I already had lol! I would ultimately like to get down to 10st but I know that is going to take a while.
I have a terrible sweet tooth so I know that is going to be the hardest part to overcome, but as it's normally my downfall I am hoping to conquer it once and for all!Make £5 per day in August= £100/£155
Paid MS- £5+ £10 GR, £5 RE, £15 MS
£65 ebay profit
Waiting on payment- E160 BAI

Thanks Crafty Gal, I am doing ok so far. That is probably because I have an atkins chocolate bar in my coat pocket and I think just knowing it is there makes it easier to resist lol. I started on Saturday (was 13st 6lbs then) and am now 13st 3lbs so pretty chuffed...makes it easier to keep going too. I always seemed to gain weight on other diets but this seems to really suit me.Make £5 per day in August= £100/£155

Just realised it has been over two weeks now with no bread, pastry etc and only a tiny potato now and again.
Don't want to weigh myself as I will either get discouraged or overconfidant - and start eating loads of rubbish again.
Trying to get the mindset that I feel better when I stick to meat, fish, eggs, veg, cheese and nuts and not putting any pressure on myself.
I feel less fat and flabby and have stopped thinking constantly about food which can only be a good thing. While eating lots of bread I was never full and constantly rummaging for snacks."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

Still not really missing those carbs and its nice to actually think about your meals rather than piling plates high with pasta every night. I must start getting myself sorted for christmas food stuff too Gers!0
