Morning again LCers.
I'm back, with a vengence - been busy recovering from my operation and then on holiday so it's time to resume the LC regime as I've sat around long enough. Actually I miss the LC way of eating and am determined to get my act into gear.
Despite doing a huge shop yesterday (fridge was empty) which included lovely bacon, greek yoghurt, lots of berries and meat I forgot to get eggs - how stupid of me. So, this morning I've had a bowl of yoghurt with blackberries (not too keen on blueberries) and raspberries. Will take some soup with me to work and then have some chickeny thing for evening meal.
I've also found that, since my operation, if I eat even a little too much it brings on pain and uncomfortableness which is something I want to avoid.
Had planned to walk to work but it's pouring down here - fair weather fitness freak!0 -
We weighed in yesterday:eek:,so I am going to do a weekly weigh in, I made a sort of meal plan,I got lots of cheese cream meat etc, this diet work last time, and I havent put on too much weight, but my husband has, but hopefully he will lose it , he loves his food , so it would be impossible to put in on a low calorie diet.0

Yes, it was AH:
Savour Bakes Rye with no artificial additives (Green packet) at 3.1g carb
Savour Bakes Sesame with no artificial additives (Red packet) at 2.8gcarb
They are slightly bigger than the HB ones, taste much better have about 3 times the number in the pack and are only 59p.0 -
Evening - first day back on wagon was fine, though not as anticipated (as ever).
Lunch was venison casserole and then evening meal was pea soup. Had a snack at about 3.30 of a piece of ham with cream cheese in the middle.
Slow but sure start. Tomorrow will bring the usual work related problem... buffet lunch at a meeting.
Hope everyone is doing fine.0 -
Well done Gers, sounds like a good start to me, maybe have something to eat before the buffett so your not tempted, venison casserole? I've never cooked venison but that sounds good to me even at this time in the morning;)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I've made venison casserole before and it was beautiful. Did it with a red wine sauce, yum.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
