I have come on today(tmi?), though that hopefully explains the non stop eating. Feel a bit more positive about things today. Had a lovely trip to a farm today with my youngest and his pre-school. Warm sun and friendly people(also a very friendly shetland pony). I think I just neede to get out to get some oomph into me.

Hope everybody else has had some sunshine too.Should be a very warm weekend which will help with the eating,a BBQ is very easy to low carb.

    Hi

Had got down to 13. 1/2lb and was getting most excited about getting below 13 st and guess what...put on 3/4lb yesterday! But I know myself I didn't drink enough water and was 'grazing' all day.

Tried to be better today so here's hoping but basically it has been slow 7lbs in 3 weeks!!

    Morninf guys
Thought id updaye myself. Im at al total loss. Im loosing nothing. No weight no inches am at a total stop. The only thing different is ive allowed myself some sugar free jelly as a treat.
Ive been LC with one break since xmas. The last break was end of March and its been slow ever since. Ive just got another stone to loose now. How many grams of carbs do you guys eat a day. I guess im around 30 is it worth cutting that down? Could I be eating to many eggs although they are carb free. I do also eat sugar free gum as a treat when my breaths off lol
Wishing you all a lovely week

Narabanekeater you have done very well to loose as much as you have, I am still at the start and have fluctuated between 8 lb and 4lb off for a month now, cannot seem to get below 13 stone and I want to be 11.5st so a way to go.

In the book it says that stuck really means no lose for 4 weeks - not sure if that includes you or not. Maybe another go at phase 1 for a week or so would help get you 're-booted'

I'm quite similar to you in that I've been low carbing since Christmas & have had a week off a couple of weeks ago when I was on holiday.
In the Idiot Proof Diet they recommend eating NO carbs for a couple of days to restart weight loss when you've stalled. I'm not sure I could do that but maybe a couple of days of nothing except, eggs, fish, meat & leafy greens might do the trick?
I think the less you have to lose the slower & harder it is. I only have a few lbs to lose now & I'm finding it so difficult. We're off to London today, coming back on Wednesday so although I expect breakfast & dinner to be low carb, I know I'll struggle with lunches.
Oh well, I'll do my best & start again when I get back.

naraban, have you tried keeping a food diary? You might find that something is coming up a lot, like you have more cream/cheese than is good, or your portion sizes are a bit off. At the end of the day, low carb or not we have to consume fewer calories to lose weight. My husband's stopped snacking and cut his portion sizes down and he's doing really well again having stalled for a while. He lost 2 pounds last week.
