Glowgirl, try the halved peppers, filled with garlic, couple of cherry tomatoes, and topped with feta, or cheddar if you prefer, sprinkle liberally with olive oil and roast in the oven for 20-30 mins ( i'm not very good with times etc as my oven is cr*p)
They go all juicy and gooey and lush, i have them with lamb chops.. yum
Thank you, I'm soooo making this tonight - you made me hungry:D
and I'm going to try this tooI quite like fruit teas made with fresh fruit. Just pour boiling water over a small amount of fruit like a slice of lemon, lime or orange or a few berries. Is more like a squash but still tasty.
Thats the best idea I've heard in ages - and so simple:TThank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
Just had to report - am under 12 stone for the first time in for ever. Very exciting. Only just though - 11st 13.8!0

I`m going to be cheating for at least another week. I`m fed up with trying to work round in the kitchen, it honestly was easier when it was empty but now that theres more work being done i`m struggling to spend any time in there.
Had to laugh at the costco storythat would be me
Another easy remoska byriani for tea tonight, one pot to wash up. It will be worse on Monday when more units will be put together standing in there. The cat loves it though as she likes to explore all the hidey holes
I`ve menu planned a lc menu to stick to so i`m geting a little bit more organised - trouble is i`m putting back on what i`ve lost
Just waiting for another freecycler to collect and then all my[STRIKE] junk [/STRIKE] recyclables are gone so at least it dosen`t look like steptoes yard here anymore
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
.....I weighed myself this morning and I have put on 1/4 of a pound......
What scales do you use glowy? I want ones that weigh in more than just pounds.
Was up early for work but forgot i am doing the later shift today, thankfully i remembered in time

Ask me, go on ask me.......:D Ok I'll tell you.....7 and a third miles I did today. I am knackered. 10 year old daughter did it too and did well until the last mile-ish when she was flagging and started moaning a wee bit but on the whole she was a wee star. (She's normally a grumbly mini Victor so she reigned her neck in a bit today, lol.)
I had a pita bread filled with salad and chicken for lunch but when I went to eat it, it was soggy.I ate the unsoggy bit and threw the rest away.
I'm now having curry. (And wine).
Sunny, it wont be long before it all takes shape, just hang in there.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Hi alias:) I use an older version of these http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=1008&storeId=90&productId=4001&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=&top=&top_category=&fromPage=Search&hotspot_prefix=
each member of the family can have their own profile, with info like age, height etc, when you weigh yourself it tells you if this is in the normal, high body fat range etc however, it seems to know that I eat more fat than someone not lcing and it doesn't like it, don't ask me how:oI weigh 8st 11lbs and I am in the obese category:rotfl:my 14 year old daughter who is super active and fit and couldn't be further away from lcing weighs 7st 12lbs and is in the overfat category:eek:I think its funny and just ignore that bit (you can turn it off) but I agree the 1/4 pound measures are useful so you can see what you react too, I have discovered caffeine and splenda do me no favours:(
mazzers, I made the peppers and the rest of the family had them too, they were delicious and I'll definitely be doing them again, I'm so glad I joined this thread as I was just bored bored bored and now I feel enthusiastic again with lcing, couldn't do the fruit tea, dd had eaten all the strawberries and could only find lemon which I didn't fancy - have a good Saturday evening all:DThank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
been to costco and managed to eat my way round the shop
ive had lamb, pate on toast, shortbread, chardonnay, cheese, jalapeno pepper with cheese, gingerbeer, choc milkshake, coconut macaroon , ravioli
:o
then I had a chicken bake from the cafe on the way out :o its about a foot long and deliciousI did have diet coke though :A
Phew, that's a relief, apparently diet coke neutralises the calories of everything you've eaten, you must have heard that [STRIKE]big fat lie[/STRIKE] as well!! :rotfl:I get the scandinavian crispbread from holland and barret its 2.9g carbs per crispbread , they are very fibrous lol and they definitely need something on them to help get them down but i like them
And drink lots of water or you might end up 'congested'Ask me, go on ask me.......:D Ok I'll tell you.....7 and a third miles I did today.
Well done :T You sound like you're really getting into this walking lark. Enjoy your wine, you've deserved it
Those bathroom scales look good & a good price too. I've got some that break down the lbs & tells you your body fat percentage, but I usually jump off before it gets to that bit!!
Well done sarah, one step (& a few lbs) closer to ttc :j
Sunny, methinks I need to get myself a remoska, like the sound of just one pot cookingWhat size have you got??
Think I'll join alias in a glass of wine, see you later peeps.0 -
