I'm a mature student :D Or at least I will be when my OU stuff arrives!! :rotfl:

Not rubbing it in, honest, but the walk along the beach was fantastic, just the right amount of seaweed smell iykwim?! Lovely day here, not too warm & not too cold (I don't do extreme temperatures :o) Loads of people about though (most of whom seemed to be eating fish & chips or icecreams ), could have done with being on a deserted beach on the West coast of Scotland instead *sigh*

Bought some fish from M&S (we can actually buy it off fishing boats straight from the sea here but I never do, they still have eyes!!) anyway, got 2 packs of lemon sole & 1 pack of salmon on offer '3 packs for £10'. Got their watercress sauce to go with the salmon, more low-carb than low-gi but it's so lush I couldn't resist.

Ok, I'm just waffling now :o Better go & chase up this OU stuff.

The fresh fish is the nicest you can get. Why not ask them if they will take off the head, if not get a really sharp pair of scissors like you would use to cut open a chicken and do one quick cut at either end.

Morrisons Organic 70% choc is lower in carb than some with a higher percentage of cocoa in. Problem is, it's definitely very moreish. I can't buy it cos I don't have the ability to stop at 2 squares. :o

Well I think I'm going to have to have something carby tonight but I've no idea what.

I don't want to pig out as such but I know I need a boost as I'm so tired today, no energy etc. I think my daily carb intake has been so low, it's too low iyswim, and that's fine for when I'm sat on the couch all day, but these days I'm moving my backside a bit more and I don't feel well for it, if that makes sense.

I've just been out planting some veg plugs into pots and I'm ready for my bed. I've got no chance for tomorrow's walk. :o

I thought I might have toast, but then I might crave bread again. :undecided I wish I could stomach porridge as I think that might be ok but I hate the stuff.

Any ideas on what I can have tonight? I'm trying not to 'locust' my way through the cupboards. :rotfl:

no I used to make soup alot before icing but I hadnt thought about doing a lc one. what do people bung in their lc soups?

Depends how lc you're being, but a personal fave is roasted butternut squash soup. The original version was in the Idiot Proof Diet book but it's been tweaked by myself & mazzers, think Mercy put our versions on the recipe page if you want to have a look. You could use any lc veg though, just put in what you fancy.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that's TMI!! _pale__pale__pale_ I'm a wuss, I could never do anything like that :o

I was going to suggest a piece of toast & peanut butter, but maybe not if you don't trust yourself. Did you ever find out how many carbs were in a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of Rose?? Would that be carby enough??:D

Its probably a bit late for suggestions now, but i wouldnt have anything carby, its sooo hard to get back to lc then.

Have some filled roasted peppers or some boiled smoked haddock dripping with butter or fry a chicken breast and have with spinach, these are my lc staples.
