Just a quick message to apologise for not keeping my Lenten promise
I actually forgot that I'd said I would give up red wine & have been drinking it by the [STRIKE]gallon[/STRIKE] bottle. It was only when I thought about the kids being allowed to eat their choccy eggs today that I remembered. So sorry to whoever it was on this thread that suggested making Lenten promises. I feel rotten now.

Happy Easter everyone!
Whew! Had a mad banging head this morning. Ouzo is lovely especially when it's freeBut it's never free is it? Paid heavily this am.
Heyho! Got choc sorted for family and just need to pop to the shops for some real food.
Going to mum and dad's later, apparently we're having lasagne, it really will be tues before I'm back on trackWas good last night though, shared tinned salmon with the cats and had mine with scrambled eggs. Newt (my avatar) was in need of a loving so I was dribbled on profusely and lost count of the amount of times his whiskers went up my nose
It was nice to be home but feel like I'm still on hols so really can't be bothered with asda. Will have to go though as I'm out of eggs.
Have a lovely day all!

Thanks Mercy, have just been out for a quick bike ride with hubby, great for clearing your head
Talked to neighbour when we got back & apologised for the noisy 'singing' last night. Was only their Son in the house last night & he hadn't heard anything anyway!! Phew!!
Btw, didn't think the shops were open today?? Our big Tesco is shut & so is Co-op. Not sure about t'others though.

Hee hee.....you're all wanton wasters. (said in a loving friendly way of course
:D.)
Well I've been burning calories like a mad woman today...mostly cos I've been a mad woman....(this kind of mad ).
I looked around my home and saw all the mess belonged to everyone but me. So I went on a tidying binge and gave everyone what for at the same time.
No-one puts their stuff in their own rooms 'because they want to keep it tidy' but they will leave the communal areas like the hall, dining room and kitchen full of their crap. Well no more.
Even son's dartboard which was in the hall is now off the wall and on the floor in his bedroom. He's in a mood about that but I dont give a toss.
I worked up a right old sweat so if I dont lose tomorrow I'll be gobsmacked.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Hmm alias, sounds like my bl00dy boys.
sometimes they make me crazeee
couple times have come home to dishes after hard day and smashed the lot, one at a time over kitchen floor, dont kno how my tiles survived but didnt care anyway.
Did have pic, will see if i can dig it out.
Also had new frying pan with a red spot in middle which changes colour when ready to use, wasnt cheap, but came home to dishes and that dirty so used it to smash all the dishes in the bowl.. new pan was like a threepenny bit (showin my age there) and had to throw out.
It makes me sooo mad coming home to dirty dishes:mad:0 -
I want to laugh but I dont think I should. :lipsrseal
Oh well maybe a bit. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0
