Oh dear, anyone looking at this thread will think it's alcoholics anonymous!!
Yep, I'm feeling a wee bit tipsy too!! Just thought I'd have a nosey & see what all you peeps have been up to today.
I've been out for my meal & can you believe it (I can't but it's true) I was good!! Had this gorgeous fillet of pork in apple & white wine gravy (lush) with salad, peas & new potatoes. But I didn't eat the spuds!! It's absolutely 100% true!! I did not eat the potatoes!! They looked & smelled bl00dy gorgeous but I resisted!! Hubby had 99% of them & youngest had the other 1%
So, came home & poured the wine (I was driving so no plonk at the pub). And then starting singing!! :rotfl:Got Abba Singstar (like karaeoke but PS2?!) for Christmas or Mother's Day, can't remember which, & christened it tonight!! I pity the neighbours!! :rotfl:
After we had sang all of those songs we went on to play another disc which included Johnny Cash Ring of Fireplayed about 10 times & a bit of Motorhead (yes I did the head-banging!!), U2 (my absolute favourite band) & loads of other songs. Hubby went to bed about an hour ago but I was still singing (billy no mates strikes again) until my throat dried up so thought I'd come on here as not tired!! But I am now. Have had about a bottle of wine - might not seem much to some but I'm not able to drink as much as I used to
Must be because I'm slimmer!!
So, hello to everyone, Mercy you sound as tipsy as me but glad you had a great hol. Hope see everyone tomorrow
Goodnight peeps0 -

Good morning peeps!! :easter:
Well, I'm up!! Got the shakes but I'm up!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Bet we don't see mazzers for a few hours!! 18 shots & 6 pints?! How?! :rotfl::rotfl:
I was quite impressed that I managed to string a coherent post together last night - ok I might have waffled on a bit (but what's new) but no spelling mistakes or anything!! Must be the Typist in me
So, Happy Easter everyone :EasterBun Anyone going for the Easter choccy today?? I'm not, I'm going to be having eggs of the fried variety as usual!! Just can't face them at the moment
Have a good day & I'll be back later but just have to wake up a bit more with some strong black coffee :coffee:
Andback to you alias, at least you don't have a red wine headache this morning!! :rotfl:

Morning, all! How are the hangovers?? Sounds like a lovely night out/in, Sweet
I was very good, went to bed early, but Lodger was having a little party in the basement which kept me awake quite lateToday I intend to do the supermarket shopping I've been putting off for over a month - if they're open that is!
Bank holiday menus so far (am I the only one still posting these?):
Friday
Scrambled egg and Linda McCartney sausages
Cheese and coleslaw salad
Saturday
Coconut "cake" (no added sweetener)
Salad with cottage cheese and marinated artichokes
Hemp & nut roast with tapanade and brocolli
Still on the green tea, too - I found some odd varieties really cheap, "Green tea with orange blosson" was on Approved Foods for like 20p a case, and "Green Earl Grey" was in Lidl and is actually surprisingly yummy...
Sweet, there's not a chance of Easter choccy in this house, but then I guess it's easier to say that when you don't have kids :rolleyes:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
I'm up.. some idiot (kids) left the cat in all night so she jumped on the bed and was purring and dribbling on me at six thirty this morning.
Let cat out and came back to bed but had to get up to put my beef in th'oven.
Tis another fab day and i dont intend doing much, i am having a lazy day.
Those shots were fab last night, sooo many flavours, soooo many carbs and all on an empty stomach as i hadnt eaten since breakfast  and didnt eat while i was out and had a pasty when i came in
They had 'sourz' which were fab in cherry and apple flavour mm and one like baileys which was chocolate mint, was fab also but, 18, that is so piggishand too many more to name but i had a nice time (and spent all my' just in case' money)
So, beef dinner today and got that side of salmon for tomorrow. yum..0 -

B - 2 chipolata sausages, fried mushrooms & 1 fried egg
L - salmon & spring onion salad
D - chicken curry - using Patak's rogan josh paste to make it so not that low-carb when you add the chopped toms as well but high-yum content!! Will have with broc & cauli0
