Well, I've been away for a week visiting various rellies.
Managed to stay pretty much LC. I was able to swap chips for veg or salad at all the meals out. I don't even feel embarrassed asking nowadays and nobody batted an eyelid about it, and when eating at people's houses i just had extra veg. Had a bit of swede and mash that i wouldn't normally have but of course they just considered them as "veg" so i didn't want to make a fuss.
I must confess to having 2 whole onion rings that i could have/should have left on the plate and accompanied them with a pint of cider but I think that was as naughty as i got. Oh and i shared a massive chocolate pudding on a different night. (definitely worth the carb-splurge!)

    but the best bit is......

Tried on my Trousers of Truth today and they fit me perfectly! Hooray!
and my other half is in his ToT too (how did he get in his so quickly? he only went back to LC a couple of weeks ago and he's eating peanuts and everything!)

strangely though since i've been back home i really want chocolate and am having to resist all the time. how come when i was away i didn't even think about it at all.

Happy Easter everyone. Hope we all manage to resist.....pretty much....

I'm back from my night out! Was really lame in the end, kept yawning so we never made it to a nightclub, but hey I was up all last night... feeling quite ugly since my mate (same height and weight as me) kept getting loads of attention from the guys while I was totally ignored... now, considering we were both wearing short denim skirts with pretty tops, I guess I'm now a bit paranoid!

On the other hand, I am feeling very physically fit at the moment - I had a breakthrough in my pole dancing today (turning myself upside-down without assistance) and every part of my body feels strong and toned. I even wore a sleeveless top tonight for the first time in years, because I frankly couldn't fault my arms .

Have ordered an extension piece for the pole and promise to post that video ASAP!

Well done paula on 'trousers of truth' :rotfl: I've got half a wardrobe of truth that has been bought with the intention of slimming into them

Badger you have done really well with that pole and we look forward to that vid.

Hope its better than her routine :D

As for me, i feel quite slim today but alas, am the same weight so still only 9lbs, not too good after seven weeks but TOTM looming and had a lovely surprise last time so fingers crossed.

Tis a lovely day and i have loads to do today and am off out tonight so at least i'll feel nice and slim when i go out even if i dont look it.
  • Good morning all :hello:

mazzers, where do you keep finding those funny animations?! :rotfl:

Welcome back paula, & well done on those ToT fitting!! :T Tis annoying how men seem to lose weight faster & they are usually so bloomin smug about it as well!! Naming no names (my hubby)

daisy, glad you enjoyed your buffet last night, especially those sweeties!! :D I used to quite like the lurid pink shrimps, infact I probably still would now I think about it!!

Badger, you are sounding as fit as a fiddle these days - I'm still aching after my walk yesterday!! :o

alias, wherefore art thou alias?! Still in bed?! :rotfl:

Well, it's hubby's Birthday today - he's caught up with me now, for 4 months anyway :o So we are going out for a meal tonight!! Eek!! The pub we are going to is a pub-grub type of place ie. chips with everything so I'm a bit worried about what to eat. Will have a look at the starters & maybe have 2 of them instead of a main. I'm 'determined' to be good though. And I'm definitely not having a dessert!! :naughty:

    Happy days everyone

Nope. But I wish I was! Trying to find a flipping car we can afford. Tis not fun!

I like the term 'Trousers of Truth'. It should be made into a game show......cue the dodgy music....

'And tonight ladies and gentlemen.....meet our contestants who are all trying to fit into these Trousers of Truth to win a place in our semi-final......'

    :rotfl:

    What?! :o I'm tired and stressed. :D

  • Went to a family bbq last night, Kev and I took our own meat and I was so determined not to eat anything i shouldnt. That went out the window when they had vegetable crisps, but i only ate a couple. Sat thinking thats it i wont eat anything else except my steak, burger and lamb chop. My daughter who also follows atkins decided we should maybe splurge a little so her fella went to shop and got us vodka and diet red bull..all good so far until my sister arrives with 2 bottles of sambuca and me and my daughter just couldnt resist getting drunk with the others...it would have been rude not to partake :p Well we soon finished the sambuca so then followed a walk to the co-op and we came back with 2 bottles of tequila. Needless to say we got totally wrecked. Kev was driving so he just watched us get hammered. BUT.....................i still lost 0.7kgs so all was not lost. :T
