Sweet, what's the 'day job' you're giving up? Well done on some life-changing decisions.
I always get nervous with those 'apple; measuring things. I officially come out as a pear shape when you measure the hips and the waisst and take the difference between them. But that's because of my enormous !!!! and hips. It doesn't mean I have a healthy-sized waistline at all. Gah.
Anyway, I'd lost a pound when I stepped on the scales this morning, much to my surprise. Aliasjo, I've had the same thing as you - weeks of no loss qwhen I was being really good. I just seem to have a sstrong delay button inside me. Which probably means that the red wine and dark choc I had over the weekend will show up next Tuesday. Bah.0 -
Hi, hope you all had a good weekend..I seemed to drop off the wagon ..well I was pushed really...honest..On saturday had lunch out at a garden centre just had the meat no carrots or potatoes and no free pudding (that bit nearly killed me!!)It was horrid ..I came away very hungry.
Sunday I made and eat some Yorkshires.....and had some jellybeans my daughter offered me yumyum.....but thats not all might as well be hung for a sheep as they say ...had some toast in the evening....
Was weigh day today and was worried I had piled it on.......no lost a pound.compaired to last weekend were I hardly ate anything I put one 2 plus pounds....How mad is that?
I am too very scared about the lose skin that you see in magazines.....I 'd really rather be fat with all the possiable health problems that lose skin.....yuk yuk yuk
You were talking about the weight loss when you split up with your partner...
I lost 20lbs when I was pregnant....with both pregnancies...and only put on 20lbs...had nealry 9 lbs babies....and put on loads of weight while breastfeeding..How contreary is that....0 -

for 12 silicone muffin cups
12 eggs
120ml double cream
120ml water
100-170g grated or cubed cheese
fillings: sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, chopped fresh herbs, cooked bacon, cooked sausages (remove the skins prior to cooking), fried butternut squash, roasted pepper, roasted aubergine, cooked flaked fish... etc
Fill the muffin cups with your chosen filling (about halfway up the cups). Beat the eggs, cream and water together and season with salt & pepper, divide the egg mixture between the cups and top with the cheese.
Cook at 190C gas 5 for about 20 minutes till golden and fluffy. Allow to cool a bit in the cups before removing.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
Put on some lipstick

I'm ravenous this morning. I feel like a junkie craving her next carb fix.
Yesterday was a total disaster, it was reminiscent of the binge days of yore. I wont list my sins, they're bad.I just don't understand why this happens. It's not TOTM this time, I just was like a woman possessed and I had to have carb filled things. The more I had the better I felt mood wise.
However, by the time I went to bed last night, I felt physically awful.... tired, sluggish and bloated. I wish some Doctor could analyse me and give me an explanation, at least then I'd have a fighting chance of understanding why and maybe heading it off next time.
I sometimes think carbs are my subconscious security blanket. I'm on a downer at the moment and a bit stressed, I've got so much to do, DIY wise and only have around 10 days left to do it and I'm feeling pressured. I'm not a young fit chippy, I'm an overweight, unfit, middle aged (only in the true technical sense) female who gets easily tired lugging around sheets of plasterboard etc. I haven't been over the front door in ages and I'm hemmed in by a person who hangs on my shoulder constantly talking or moaning alternatively. Each day I have a wee picture in my head of me screaming at the top of my lungs, hitting them all with a length of 3" x 2" and then running off into the sunset laughing hysterically.
Actually maybe I don't need analysing after all.........:rotfl:This thread can be quite therapeutic.
I'm hoping I can ride out today on the remnants of yesterdays carb intake which will help me get on with things and I will try my best to eat properly here on in.
Mazzers, you've had your day off same as me, don't let one day become 2. Icing today lady!
sistercas, you shouldn't even have chocolate peanuts in the house. Next time leave them on the supermarket shelf and walk on by.Today is another day, forget about them and move on.
I wish the rest of you a good, positive day.

I liked the bit about the hysterical running :rotfl:
Yes, back to it today, i cant put weight on before my night out.
Alias, read sweets link to the new atkins, its been re-evaluated by the sounds of it and more carbs are def allowed, plus, you will get to eat bread again once the weight is lost, so a pcychological boost there
I will try to be calm today, difficult with an aggrevating git in the house, but i will try to be patient
Could have done with a lie on ( i am on holiday after all) but i always get breakfast for youngest, before school as i kno he'll go without otherwise, but after dragging myself out of bed and faffing, he got up and said he'd forgotten he had no lessons.... idiot!

blowing his nose.
Half a loo roll gone and he hasn't even got a cold.
