I have a theory that way back in cave man olden days.. us women laid down fat to keep feeding those babies and keep going in lean times, thats maybe why its so much harder to shift than men...we kept mankind going, I am sure of it..
Also the female hormone is stored in fat...
Is there any wonder when it is all around us every where we turn..
carb carbs and more carbs..and yes some of those carbs are pretty tasty.
But just lately I found if I did go mad and have some bread or the odd chip etc ..I found myself thinking was I really enjoying this (carbs) the answer was NO!...
It is like being a junnkie sadly...but we need food to live and it is all around and most of have families to feed (my kids and hubby are skinny)
I think the key is to change the mind set that this way of eating is a life choice not just a quick weight loss fix and return to old bad habits.
Certainly I think most of us that post on here are of that way of thinking.
Shhh dont tell any one but I feel quite smug because I know the damage carbs can do to people..( gonna look for a smug smilie>>>>>>)
Off to set a carb free commune any one coming?

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Evenink all :)

I am in a good mood, no reason, just am.

Forgot to take food to work as i was finishing off the lost episodes (well i did have 17 and only a week)
As it turns out i didnt want any.
Had a beef medallion this evening, same as yesterday, i reckon i eat more spinach than popeye ever did ;) also had three strawberries dipped in double cream.

Alias, try the acidophilus, i have chewy sweets, chocolate, cornettos, mini cheesecakes, choc chip cakes, and creme eggs around the house and i'm not bothered... a bloody miracle.

Still waiting to get my hospital appt for my glucose tolerance test.

Morning - bright and sunny here all round.

Just about to have some bacon and eggs, then head down for a pile of work but will head out later on to restock, I cooked some chicken thighs yesterday and then forgot about them in the oven  just remembered this morning so will have to bin them I think.

Evening meal will be something tasty :p not quite sure yet.

Hope everyone - especially Mercy - is fine and dandy.

My gran used to use the oven as her fridge. If you heat them up before serving should be ok.

Is a bit overcast here :(

Will be in work anyway, glad i swapped my day off now :)

All the food i cooked has been scoffed so will have to make a curry i think, will also make butter chicken for me.

I have decided i'm going to be making mexican fudge more often, it is so quick and easy to grab when there isn't time to faff.

Forgot to weigh first thing, so will try to remember tomorrow.

Morning, crisp and sunny here.. The scales finalllllly moved(downwards) again this morning not by much, but at least in the right direction at last. I did more walking yesterday, so maybe that was it. Work to do, steaks to defrost for tea as seem to have overload of mushrooms and they wil go nicely together. Off to find a recipe for celery soup, allllllllllllllthough I don't think it would be difficult to make up, stilllllllllll got celery lllllllllllllllllllleft from last weeks veggie box and got more yesterday.

apologies for sticky L getting fed up of going back and deleting them alllllllllllllllll :(

I went and bought some of those GG crispbread - not as bad as they look!!

forgot about my other Aldi low carb thing - carbonara sauce (1.5 carbs per 1/4 jar) so I had that last night with loads of chicken!!!

today has been salt and vinegar peanuts for breakfast, lunch was tuna and mayo on 2 crispbreads and a triangle of dairylea and tea looks like its going to be chicken with broccoli and BNS mash (and maybe some cheese sauce)

I think I might make some snickerdoodles later - I too have TOTM and will no doubt be raiding the cupboards later for something to eat (even though I wont be hungry!!)
