Oh, just an update for those who haven't had a t*tful of the mouse epic.. (i know i have) i've finally called in pest control to kill it, my traps dont seem to be effective. They're coming in the next couple of days and maybe they can tell me where it - they are getting in.
I have to bleach everything every morning and i've had enough now

I bought some of those crispbreads that sweet mentioned but I haven't tried them yet so dont know if they were a good buy or a waste of money. :rotfl:
Best thing since sliced bread, imo!! :rotfl:
snuggle, they are called GG crispbreads & are available from Holland & Barrett.
I don't use flax seeds, but you can use them to make crackers & bread. Think you have to grind them first??
mazzers, can't believe the mouse/mice is/are still there!! Hope you've been charging for B&B!! :rotfl:0 -
thats brilliant thanks, any other holland and barratt suggestions if i am making a trip there?0

googled coconut oil, got side tracked by green smoothies, found several Mexican fudge recipes and now going to bed, cos I read somewhere that too little sleep affects weight loss.
will try not to lurk tomorrow.0 -

Oh yes they are. I love you for finding them sweet.I had [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 4
last night with a slither of cheese, lovely stuff. 2.9 g of carb each crispbread. I should really only have had 2 but I'd little to eat yesterday as I'd been out for much of the day, so I figured what the heck. They helped with my little *ahem* blockage problem too.
H&B is a 50 mile round trip away from us but it's not a million miles away from OH's work so he's going to go in today and get some more packets whilst they are on offer. (10 in a pack for £1.19 but buy one get one half price just now.)
mazzers, I missed the mouse thing but I sympathise anyway. None of your neighbours got a cat you can [STRIKE]steal for a day and lock in your house[/STRIKE] borrow?
Btw, has anyone here ever had a colonic?:D I really think this would do me good but I just can't bring myself to go just through sheer embarrassment. It seems very unatural to lie there whilst a total stranger sticks a tube up your bum. (Actually I've got a sense of deja vu about this......sorry if I've already asked this or we've already talked about it.)

Morning all :hello:
Hi fruity, what on earth are green smoothies?! Veggie smoothies?? Will have to google.
snuggle, you could maybe look at the nuts & seeds in H&B while the offer is on??
alias, I love you too, but it's really Sazbo you should be professing your love to, as she was the one who first posted about them!! I love her too!! :rotfl:
Btw, think you'll have no need for a colonic if you keep eating 4 of those crispbreads at a time!! I sometimes have 4 a day (usually on a weekend when I'm drinking wine), but space them out & have 2 at lunchtime, then 2 for supper, it's safer for me that way!! :rotfl:
Anyway, menu for today:
B - 2 egg cheese/mushroom/yellow pepper/ham omelette
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, BNS soup
D - daisy's chicken pie with green beans
My omelette was gorgeous this morning, I was getting fed up with the usual combo of cheese & mushroom, so added the ham & pepper to the mix & it was lovely, same again tomorrow methinks!!
See you all later :wave:0 -

So funny you should ask. I was just wondering the same thing myself. Wondering if an, ahem, backlog, is the cause of my apparent non weight loss. I think you can do them where you insert hte tube yourself and they leave you alone. Sounds much more dignifed that way.0 -
Alias, i had a cat, only recently died, the mouse wasn't fazed by her apparently (she was a good hunter too) so its rentokil man i'm relying on.
Would love a colonic, if it was good enough for Princess Di, it should be ok for you. Put a blindfold on so you cant see the contents of your colon though
Have you researched it? if so, how much does it cost?0 -
:rotfl::oApparently it's £40-£75. The bit that worries me is, what if you can't hold it in when all the water's in there? :rotfl::eek:0
