 Hi all just dont ask what idiot brought chocolate hob nobs , I need to be put in the naughty corner !! Why do i keep wrecking the whole diet plan , I find theres no middle ground for me . Thats how i am all or nothing

    Hi sue
I have done that so many times. It's ok when it's now and then, we can all pick ourselves up, wipe our mouths and start again tomorrow. It's when it's often we need to be aware. That isn't low carbing, it's pretending to :)

More worrying for anyone on Atkins induction, either you are doing it or you're not.

I've been v good to little physical change but I've been sticking to it anyway. Next week it's all up in the air and I just hope I don't pick up any sustained habits from it. Can't promise though as I have form :)

Sorry its me again.. all or nothing.
I think a 'conspiracy theory' programme should be made (everyone loves a conspiracy theory) telling people that its a government conspiracy that fat is bad just so we'll fill up on cheap staples.
I mean, the farmers wont be out of pocket by not selling grain cos we'll be eating more meat and eggs, so let the animals have the grain and we'll have the meat.. innit!!!

It IS a conspiracy, all to do with moolah, nowt to do with health! Not sure the animals should eat grain, we do better eating the beasties fed on their natural diets, like grass :)

sue......I'm an all or nothing type person too, that's why I have so much trouble with the Atkins bars. I cant eat just one...I have to eat the box. Only way to avoid this is to not buy things. I dont know if I'll ever be able to change that or not tbh.

    .

Me too. It really is easier to sort out the shopping rather than having temptation in the house. You could try making coconut muffins with a little bit of flax in em. That' had me down to simply 1 a day :rotfl:

Ok, I've decided I'm going to be a coconut oil convert (despite the fact I really dont think I'll like it, but I'm gonna try) ....but I cant remember which one was recommended or where to get it? Anyone know offhand to save me a lengthy search? :)

Btw mazzers, I'm exactly the same. If I haven't mentioned something or acknowledged someone...it's always simply because I forgot who wrote what, by the time I write my own post. I sympathise, lol.

As for the TOTM thing, I also get a sore left knee at TOTM and MOTH. I went to the Docs many years ago but he was at a loss to explain why so I've just put up with it. It's like having a period cramping pain in your knee and is annoying and uncomfortable. I've got it now so I'm thinking my extra pounds on could be linked.

Well just had a tuna salad for tea. Cant say it was overly enjoyable but it was healthy and low carb so I'm happy. I need to up my water intake, I know I'm not drinking nearly enough but I find it really dificult tbh. My OH can happily swig down gallons of the stuff.

i got some a few weeks ago from holland and barett

We're baaa-aack! (for now at least )

Ah, I'm having such a good day - woke up this morning to see the good side of 11 stone for the first time, woop-woop! And with all the exercising I've been doing over the last fortnight, I've definitely been building up muscle (sit-ups, lifts etc have all got significantly easier) so good news all round :)
