Chopped all veg for beef mice curry too/QUOTE]Two dreadful (food) days. Panettone, chocolate mouse
I've heard of MSE 'rubber chicken' but it seems we now have 'rubber mouse'!! :rotfl: Wonder how many more meals we can make out of mazzers' mouse?! :rotfl:
With that discipline you certainly will be
I've been scoffing chocs
Me too. And mince pies etc etc etc ...
Feeling sick, upset stomach, bad wind
, this is what eating too many carbs has done to me. Just have to get New Year's Day over with & then I'm back to being a lcing angel. I never want to see another Quality Street!! Haven't weighed yet, but can feel the bloat has returned
Well done to those peeps that have managed to stay sensible over the last few days, I don't know how you did it!!0 -
reminding myself the hard way that sugar+wheat=really uncomfortable bloating. funny how i didn't notice the effects when i was eating sugar and wheat products all the time
i've got really bad carb face too - real augustus gloop cheeks
any hints on how to speed up the de-bloating process? will fybogel speed things up do you think (have just checked and it is sugar free) and erm speed up dietry transit as i believe the adverts now call itMy name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg

paula, I have augustus gloop cheeks too
Carb face
Hamster chops
That's me btw, not you!!
With me it's fluid retention, I soak up carbs like a big fat sponge!! Think I need someone to give me a squeeze!! :rotfl:*hmmm, wonders if Daniel Craig is available??*
I know that I've put 'weight' on because I feel bloated, but I know that once I stop stuffing the carbs into my big fat face then the 'weight' will disappear & my chubby (facial) cheeks will slim down again.

Making dinner tonight (don't ask ) & green beans were included (& then forgotten about so they are still in the pan ) which got me thinking (& slobbering about) my fave low-carb meal. I think it would have to be:
Roast chicken
Cauli mash or just cauli unmashed
Green beans
Creamy mushroom/cheesy sauce poured over the above
Tis soooo nice I'm really looking forward to having it when I start lcing again
Anyone else care to divulge their fave lc meal?? I'm bored :rolleyes:0 -

Bit late now but i'm bored too, in fact, never thought i'd say it but i'll be glad to go to work tomorrow
I'm also fed up of eating, and only had toast for my main meal today :rolleyes:0 -
My fave lc meal would be... um... fillet steak, with roast veg and those lovely roast peppers, yum
I also like the butter chicken (curry one) never know what to have it with tho, just dont fancy riced cauli.
Another fave is fried chicken with creamy spinach, and for dessert, lidl yogurt with raspberries and chopped brazils

exactly the same here. and i'm still a bit hamster cheeked myself. going to cause up roar by having egg and bacon for breakfast now rather than "healthy" special k :rotfl:My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg

hi all!
I've not been that bad lcing wise but have had spuds and some cake
Enjoyed the traditional english curry on boxing day, brought qhite a bit home too so had it for dinner yesterday. Have enough for a full meal today but might just pick out the best bits and have them for lunch. On a crispbread or two, maybe :rotfl:
Hints on improving dietary transitI find chillis help. also sweets' crisbreads are useful - 85% bran! I wouldn't use fybogel myself, says on packet 'may cause bloating' and one may burst at this time of the year! I use fibresure when the need strikes. The one that you dissolve in water, not the pellets. They contain psyllium (sp?) husk and water must be upped considerably to stop them working the other way
I'm craving veg and steak so will make a lovely evening meal of such. will probably have it with peppercorn sauce, not too many carbs in half a packet
Didn't go mad for the food but did have lots of beer and wine and advocaat so am having a coulpa days off the booze. Well, I say that now.....
