Just weighed myself and I seem to have put on about 4lbs. Life is definitely not fair. Last time I did this the weight just fell off and I only stopped because I was bored with the food (and that comment about my bad breath). Do you think repeatedly losing weight through lcing becomes harder. Was planning to lighten up over the holidays to stop mum & mil getting upset by me not eating what is prepared, not sure now.
Yes definately, i found it so easy the first time around.
It seems repeated 'dieting' is good for one thing only.... putting on more weight!0 -
or do you have less to lose when you restart?
I haven't found it to be less successful no. It is harder to be super strict though as i'm used to having the extras that come later - more cheese, more cream.....My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg
(Atkins/IPD) 24/1/13 - 69kg! Yikes!

I have had more to lose each time, my 'steady' weight has gone up, i suppose this could be put down to aging but i believe it is repeated dieting.0 -

I'm definitely with you. I will tell anyone that will listen do not go on that first diet as things will never be the same again, just cut out the rubbish but don't diet. I was bullied into going on my first diet 20+yrs ago by a work colleague so that she had company. I succeeded and she didn't so she stopped speaking to me. Since then I have just got heavier. I was a size 14 then which would equate to a present day 10 but thought I was fat. When I think back to how much I used to eat I am embarrassed. If only we had life experiences before we made the mistakes and I'd have better teeth also not to mention not making a lot of bad financial decisions!!!!0 -

Feeling like a zombie this morning due to lack of sleepHubby still coughing away all night & I couldn't sleep, even in a different bedroom. Not his fault & am concerned about him, he has telephone consultation with Dr this morning so will see what they say.
Got loads of things to do today but no motivation to do it. Think I'm going to have to venture up to the loft for the Christmas decs, tis usually hubby's job as I'm not good with heights!! _pale_

Morning all :santa2:
Mercy, you write such lovely posts
Think I got about 6 hours sleep last night, which is good going lately  Hubby now has secondary infection & on antibiotics so he's really not well at all. Beginning to wonder what he's going to be like on Christmas Day.
Christmas decs are finally up :j Got them down from the loft last night, along with a 'dead' wasp that came to life & started flying around the bedroom!! The Angel looks like she's going to take a nose-dive off the (real & lovely smelling) Christmas tree but, apart from that, I'm happy with how my room looks, tis fairly minimalist though as I don't do bling!! :rotfl:
Haven't weighed this week as the wii fit hasn't been set back up, but my jeans feel looser so think I've lost a bit. Not surprising really, as things have been pretty fraught here.
Menu for today:
Same as yesterday & the day before & the day before ............. :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a lovely day :santa2:0
