I think its time i left the thread, i have no willpower any more :o

    Nooooooo, don't go!!

I caved for choclolate and a cup of coffee, never had cravings so bad :o

    choclolate?? :p

So its either back to square one or a break til after xmas

Have a break. Your heart obviously isn't in it atm & Christmas is too near, with all the temptations, nights out etc. Just enjoy yourself over Christmas but say to yourself that you will try again in the New Year. Not the 1st of January 'New Year's Resolution', that always fails :o, but maybe after all the booze, chocolates & mince pies have been disposed of, whatever date that falls on

Maybe the Harcombe was just too high carb, with the rice and peas/carrots, was soo hungry, something i dont get on lc, i didnt lose any weight on with low gi, now i think about it

Made a lot of sense tho.

I think maybe i'll try to be as lc as i can for the time being and make a concerted effort after xmas :o

Went for my annual heart check yesterday and the doc confirmed i am back to my original weight icon9.gif
  • Morning everyone :santa2:

mazzers, that sounds like a plan ;) I have every intention of going off the rails over Christmas so will join you & your concerted effort in the New Year!! :D

My kids break up for the Christmas hols next Friday so I'm wondering whether to make that my last lcing day as well. I don't know if it's because we're getting closer to Christmas, or because I'm getting close to my 'goal', but I'm definitely starting to wobble (yes, in every sense ). I'll try & stick with lcing for the time being, but I'm not promising anything!! :o

    Menu for today:
    B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
    L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, soup
D - not sure yet, but the usual veggie cheesiness will be making an appearance

Roasted some butternut squash last night so will be making soup at some point today - tis dead easy, just add the blended roasted squash to stock & voila, soup!! Think it made me a bit windy last time, so will see what effects it has on me this time!! :o

Gotta go, need to get out early today, see you later peeps :santa2:
  • now i'm on maintenance i occassionally have a small portion of wholewheat pasta, although i still tend to have a giant portion of mushrooms as my bulker instead (and i mean giant - like a whole tubs worth :D )
    My name is Paula and I am a low carber :kiss: 1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg :kiss: (Atkins/IPD) 24/1/13 - 69kg! Yikes!:cry::cry:
  • Tis quiet on here again

I don't know how naughty this is, but I had fish & chips (without the chips ) for my dinner. Had it with all the batter on & it was deeeeeelicious!! It can't be that bad, can it?? :o
Also had my last choc pud made into a tiramisu for dessert. :D

Its quiet coz i'm the mouthy one :p

Saw a pic of me in the works do today.. OMG

The words fat, bloated and saggy spring to mind, some were ok , but i said to my kids, please tell me i dont look like this, but the ba*****ds said i do _pale_
    I am so depressed icon9.gif

My youngest admitted later that it was very unflattering but its too late.
All i could think is where has that young girl gone

Anyway, time for drastic action i think.
  • mazzers, don't get upset over an unflattering photo, I think everyone has a few hidden away in their cupboards!! My MIL has photos of me at my very heaviest & I nearly cried when I saw them a couple of years ago, I was so upset & ashamed. :( One of these days I'll take great joy in ripping them to shreds!!

    Morning everyone :santa2:

Tis a frosty one this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Had a sneaky weigh on the bathroom scales this morning, after my battered fish last night, & all is well!! Think I'm the same but will see at my official weigh-in on Monday.

    Menu for today:
    B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette (burnt the mushrooms :o)
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, soup (so glad I made the soup yesterday :D)
D - to be decided but will have the usual veggies

Well, my F-f is defrosting & leaking water everywhere & when I went to get a towel from the airing cupboard upstairs to mop it up, the towels are damp so I think there's a pipe leaking somewhere!! :( Just what I want before Christmas!! :( Why is nothing straightforward!! I'm finally getting flooring fitted in my lounge next week but now I'm worrying about if this leak upstairs is going to cause problems with that. :( Aaaaaaaaaaaaghhh!!

Anyway, better get my bahooky into gear & get things sorted. See you all later, I'm glad it's Friday!! :santa2:
  • what you need mazzers is a pair of spanx and a push up bra! and the knowledge you are are only gettingleaner and trimmer, not fatter and saggier :)
