Morning again :santa2:
Went back to bed about 6am & managed to doze for a couple of hours. Whoopeedoo  Hubby is still coughing & now says he's pulled a muscle in his chest because of itGot so much to today & looks like he's going to be out of action & unable to do anything. Whoopeedoo
F-f is back on but almost empty so desperately need to get some provisions today. Would like to get my Christmas Day shopping out of the way as well, but think that will have to wait.
Menu for today:
B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, coronation chick
D - ??
Hope everyone doing ok today, lots of busy peeps out there :santa2:0 -

Sorry to bore you all but am thinking of a ten day push to lose some flab before my oldest boy arrives.
Saw a pic of me in work having our free xmas lunch (served by the managers.. great) and yet another fat bloated face, carby face as sweet would say.
And to think, it wasnt long ago my sis txt me to say her friend said i looked so slim and fab0 -

Morning all!
Had my breakfast and a cup of green tea. Have decided that I still can't drink black 'normal' tea and that too much cream in the coffee was doing me in  so found a packet of green tea in the cupboard, let's see what that and copious amounts of water do for me.
Off to a meeting and planned my route via all available toilets.
JUST realised that Christmas is next week, I know, as Martin always says 'Christmas day is the at the same time every year', but somehow it just creeps up. Done the 3 Christmas cards :j and done the Secret Santa for work  and done some odd little things for others. :j . Christmas day plans changed last night so the visit to family will be less busy but just as lovely.
Had bacon and eggs for breakfast
Lunch - finish off the steak from yesterday (was a tad tough but I'm not wasting it)
Evening meal -
I've realised that the evening meal is almost always TBC... bit whimsical here but some routines are not to be entered into.
Had my bank card cloned last week but luckily the bank picked the problem up before I realised it. The Fraud dept phoned me yesterday about an unusual transaction, stopped it and then stopped my bank card. Don't know whether to :T or  but think that :T wins out. Got cash in the house and got other cards to use. After the bank rang I then rang the place I suspect it happened and told the manager (hotel) and warned him. Still, I really should be more on the ball and refuse to hand over my card to staff... all sorted now though.
Have a happy Monday folks. Keeeeeeppppp low-carbing (in the style of Bruce Forsyth).0 -
Evening all :santa2:
I'm soooo tired!! Hubby still keeping me awake coughing all night so I'm going to sleep in DD2's bed tonight!! We were beginning to suspect Swine Flu but he's been to Dr today & they think it's unlikely, but not impossible  He's definitely got worse over the weekend so I'm hoping he picks up soon, don't like to see him so ill.
The good news is I finally have my flooring!! :j We have been without anything since Augustso tis lovely to finally get it sorted. Very busy day & been on my feet all day so just sat down with a large G&T
B - nowt!!
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese
D - chicken breast, cauli, green beans, garlic cheesy mushrooms
Hope everyone doing ok today :santa2:0 -
Good morning, awake since 5.30  had swine flu vaccination yesterday and my shoulder and collarbone are aching.
I'm taking advantage of the peace and quiet to make a list of items yet to get
:j Yay to sweets new floor, how does it look?0 -
Morning too!
New flooring sounds great, but coughing all night doesn't.
Nothing new to report, am plodding happily on with bacon and eggs etc. Green tea is interesting, water isn't. Not having wine is boring but necessary though I will probably have a glass tonight with work colleagues in our hotel - would be rude not to. :j
Oh, evening meal turned out to be home-made soup, defrosted and heated. No bread. Actually haven't had bread, rice or pasta for months and months now. They are the least missed part of my new way of eating. Sometimes the smell of freshly baked bread wafting around the supermarket does make me walk past the shelves but the thought that carbs are bad, and are basically another form of sugar and therefore POISON keeps me from giving in to the tempation. Strangely enough rice and pasta don't have the same pull - bland and bad in one food form.
Back Thursday unless the snow hits the East Mids and I get trapped - don't think it'll be that bad. Must remember to record Buzzcocks on Wednesday.
Happy days folks.0 -
Just back from a long weekend away and was so good it was actually causing tension. Did a lot of walking to make up for missing the gym. Just weighed myself and I seem to have put on about 4lbs. Life is definitely not fair. Last time I did this the weight just fell off and I only stopped because I was bored with the food (and that comment about my bad breath). Do you think repeatedly losing weight through lcing becomes harder. Was planning to lighten up over the holidays to stop mum & mil getting upset by me not eating what is prepared, not sure now.0

Morning all :santa2:
My flooring is beautifulSo happy with it, I'm sat here looking at it & smiling, what a saddo!!
Had a brilliant night sleep last night, DD2's bed is so comfortable, I'm thinking of making it a permanent arrangement!! Still heard hubby coughing during the night, but nowhere near as bad as being in the same room as him.
mazzers, I'm missing the peace & quiet with hubby being off & coughing the place down!!
Gers, have you tried hot water with a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime to make it taste better?? I'm definitely struggling with drinking cold water in this weather, just makes me want to wee!! :rotfl: Another nice drink would be hot sugar-free ribena, if you don't mind the artificial sweeteners!!
Always, try not to get disheartened with the ups & downs of the scales!! Yes, it's definitely harder for me to lose the weight this time & I have been angelically good, so agree with the lcing getting harder the more times you jump on & off the wagon:rolleyes:
Menu for today:
B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese
D - probably same as last night although the chicken will be cold as it's leftovers from last night (hubby lost his appetite)
No Mercy yesterday, hope you're not working your socks off, missus!!
Also, marrow seems to have gone awol??
Anyway, have a good day everyone, another busy day ahead :santa2:0
