Gers, how much does the chin zapping cost? ive been plucking and seems i do i every day now
I pay £50.00 a session and the time is dependent on what needs doing. Today they sold me a really nifty gadget as plucking is really a VERY BIG 'no-no'. Got a JLM Beauty Trimmer for inbetween visits.
Today's been good - 2 long'ish walks and all LC stuff, water, veg and supplements. Off early tomorrow so probably won't post before I leave.
Haven't read rest of posts so sorry if I've missed anything wonderful.0 -
Saz !!!! hello honey - have missed ya - here and FB
hows it going ?? and how are the plans coming along ??
hope your well honey xxxxx
Daisy hun! :hello: Aww you're lovelyI'm doing ok thanks xx Just work's been frantic past few weeks  so less time for virtual distractions I guess. Is quietening down now tho in the run up to xmas, so things should calm down a bit.
In other news, after over a year of messing about and not losing any weight, we have attacked the diet with renewed vigour. Speaking just for ourselves here, we had to accept that we were going to have to control calories as well as carbs  Tbh, it just wasn't working for us otherwise.
The other thing i really struggled with was trying to cope with low carbing while doing a stressful job and 3 hours commuting everyday (altho I know peeps here do cope and all I can say is you have my total admiration!) So a rethink was required... I think needed some time away from the thread to get my head together, y'know? But in 3 weeks, I've lost almost half a stone and gilly badger's lost a stone. As our Mercy might say, "imagine my glee!":D Well it's a start anyways. So just thought I'd update you guys on that stuff.
I do still read along to see what you're all getting up to, and I promise I'll try to post more often:) And as for plans, daisy hun, coming along nicely in a low-key kinda way;)
Much love to all and keep up the good work :T

Hi Sazz
Hey hey, another good day, no tea, coffee or milk, just fruit teas and water, bacon and eggs, tuna salad, chicken, veg and a little brown rice
Three days and counting
Oh and a little yogurt.0 -
Oh Lordy, its hard making a toasty breakfast for someone when you cant have any yourself
I think cravings are kicking in.0 -
Morning all :santa2:
Just a quick post as I have loads of stuff to fit in today!!
sazzy, good to see you & well done to you & gilly badger on the weight loss!! :T
HanSpan, I would agree with [STRIKE]chewbacca[/STRIKE] marrow that the boxing is good on wii fit, but tbh I'm not using it atm, just going for walks outside as & when I can fit it in, which is not very often these days.
mazzers, keep going, you can do it!!
Mercy, it seems to be ok to freeze the choc buns, had one yesterday (made into tiramisu) & tasted fine, just felt a bit sticky to the touch iyswim.
Menu for today:
B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic soss
D - bit of a hotch-potch methinks but will include the usual veggies
Have to defrost the f-f again  as frosting over again  & fridge bit making a strange noise, hence the hotch-potch dinner, depends what I find in there that needs using up!!
Did I say this was a quick post??
Anyway, hope to see you all later, have a good day everyone :santa2:

I know they sell wheat free pasta in Holland & Barrett.
.
If I'm totally true, I've got over pasta. It's just - in any form - a plateful of carbs (which in this form have never been my favourites) and although I will have chips when eating out now and then, I haven't had pasta, rice, bread for about 12 months (except when living in someone elses house on holiday - want inviting back). Potatoes don't bloat me so I will have them on occasion. Xmas is a big occasion :rotfl: But I'll deal with it when I get there
Parents on Boxing Day is usually a Traditional English Curry so I will def indulge in my Dad's leeky, buttery, spicy baby spuds! And I will really enjoy 'em! Thing is, after them normal spuds just don't make the grade so I feel quite safe from carb creep :rotfl:
Hope your quest to improve your diet in increments works well for you. It's best for us all to move at a good pace for us. Sometimes if we over-reach it can set us back into our old ways. I've done that.Think many on here have too. Hopefully have things in my grip now :j:confused:
Best of luck, hunni!
