Oh forgot to mention..
The bloody mouse is still here, my son saw him relaxing in the lounge last nightso it seems he did have enough dried cat food to last six months
It also seems that my JML electronic mouse deterrent doesn't work
I hope he doesnt find the lc cupboard with all the nuts!0 -
Morning - fab pic of that very grown up young man! Makes me go all 'aaaah'!
Had breakfast - usual stuff, and now heading off into the cold dark wet world of the A1 to Leeds. I just want to stay under my duvet. Love the winter as I get all cosy in bed with the 13.5 tog duvet on and feel all hamster like curled up and toasty.
Not had bread/pasta/potatoes for months now. Last night I even resisted the Chinese chips and only had the meat (no rice or noodles) though that's fairly normal.
Lunchsomething at the meeting venue and then evening meal will probably be chicken based.
Hope everyone has a great day. :beer:0 -

Have to buy more crispbreads today as I'm onto the last packet of my stash!! Don't know what I'd do if I ever ran out!! Eek!! Doesn't bear thinking about!!
greytroot, hello to you, have you tried Holland & Barrett for the Atkins bars?? Not something I eat myself so don't know if they definitely have them. Also, seem to remember someone saying they sold them in Tesco??
Mercy, hello youJust wondering if you've tried freezing the choc buns?? I made 10 the other night & only tend to eat one a day, my dad is helping me out  but not sure how long they last in an air-tight box??
Have a lovely weekend everyone :santa2:0 -
Morning folks.
Gawd my knee is sore.
Since the London trip it has has been causing me problems, i thought it would clear up in a few days but it is still painful.
I think all the walking has triggered something, it's swollen and i cant flipping bend it. Hope its not arthritis as my mum had both knees replaced due to that
Dont think i'll be doing much today, resting it would be wise i think
It is freezing here in Wales, was very frosty this morning and the sky looks full of snow if you ask me.. well it is December i suppose
I'm waiting for my boy to come home from his night out, altho no doubt he'll come in and go straight to bed.
No mention of food as i'll be starting the Harcombe on Sunday0 -
Where is everyone?
Soon to be commuting from work i expect
I am of to the docs in an hour, best i find out if i should be resting it or exercising it, eh
Still freezing here, but my son says its coz i'm sitting down doing naff all
See you later.0 -
mazzers, how did you get on at Docs?? Don't know if they would give you a steroid injection?? Either that or a zimmer frame!!
Did I [STRIKE]confess[/STRIKE] tell you that I'd bought some of that Sheridan's?? Supposed to be for Christmas (along with the Baileys & Gin) but was just wondering if I could use it in my tiramisu concoction, mixed into the cream/mascarpone?? What do you think??
Mercy, you should be proud of me this week, I've bought tonnes of loo rolls!! Thought of you when I was buying them!! :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a sooper dooper weekend!! :j0 -

sorry if this has been asked umpteen times but the thread is so big - finding anything specific is hard.
How do you work out net carbs - is it carbs - carbs that polyols and fibre. scared stiff to add into the diet as i have been doing so well. it really is the diet with almost immediate results. (still getting the sugar/chocolate/chips cravings)
thanks for any help and well done everyone on your weight loss.
:beer:You cant take the trousers off an elephant!0 -
I've decided to make a concerted effort between now and xmas to stick to LC'ing and not cheat or have any days off.So I've 19days to go and hopefully I can lose a few lbs. This will make me reach target finally! and also mean that I can have a little more leeway on my weight to take into account festive indulgences.Hubby says he's joining me but somehow after watching him chomp his way through a family sized chocolate cream mousse I'll believe it when I see it lol
Greytroot net carbs is an american thing and I just use the carb count in the nutritional information as my guide.I do use the DrD rule though of not eating anything over 5g of carbs/per 100g of foodstuff
Mazzers.I've had Bursitis and it hurts like hell.My doc gave me steroids to help and it went so they must have worked
