    Great going Gers :T

Had some chicken, but couldn't be bothered to make anything to go with it.
    Also had some yogurt/berries/nuts, yum.

Prob wont have anything else as i'm quite tired and will prob have an early night.

Also had some good news today so am in rather a good mood.
Quite fancy a glass of wine but will resist as i'm working tomorrow.

    Have a good weekend folks.

Sweet and Mercy, where are you, dont tell me you've gone and got a life :rotfl:

Nah, no real signs of a life, just fell asleep ont couch and then went to bed. Got up at 5am this morn and did all the housework I'd got out of :)

Had a brainwave, gonna make my lc bread with chopped walnuts in it, if it's a quarter as nice as the one my friend made me eat it'll be bloody lush icon7.gif

Sounds scrummy! What a good idea! Bet it'l be lush with butter. I love walnuts and really have stopped going down the 'walnut cake aisle' in asda. :rotfl:

Glad you are doing better with the food. I love pigs in blankets and if you have time wrap a piece of chicken breast round the pig, sprinkle with fave herbs and or a little garlic puree, then wrap in bacon. Secure with a cocktail stick and bake until done. Yumsk! :D

When i get a cold every time i blow my nose i rub a dab of vaseline ( or even better, cheap petroleum jelly, very mse) into the area and i never get a sore nose icon7.gif

Am I disgusting for using my lipsyl type stick? (latest is nivea 1, I can recommend it) My lips get v dry too when I have a cold so I keep one handy and after a good blow I do the whole area :) Only use the plain one though else you're smelling stuff far too often. Seems to work really well and isn't as glossy or messy as petroleum jelly.

Hope all of our band who are suffering get to feel better soon.

I found a refreshing drink to help cut through catarrh this time. Lemon juice (I used PLJ) with 1/3rd soda water and topped off with cold water. Good way to get your water. The soda gives a good back of the throat scrape but being diluted with plain water, isn't too gassy.

Wow! That was a big one :rotfl:

    Yesterday food
    Coconut oil n supplements
B - hot dog sausies and cheddar
L - Spicy veg and bacon broth
    D - drumsticks and mayo

Fell asleep after this and missed most of the evening :)

    Today's food
    Coconut oil n supplements
B - hot dog sausies and cheddar
L - Veg with chicken and bacon spicy thick broth. (eaten the last of the store now, will have to make more this weekend :))
D - Probably Bavarian ham with Brie and red pepper bits plus a few baby plum toms

I know my food seems monotonous but it is really tasty and I'm not getting bored at all yet. There have been two different broths on the go and it was very nice that my compulsive cooking and storing paid off in that I have'nt had to think about my lunches all week. Really would have had some poor food for work if I hadn't put these by as I've had no urge to cook at all.

Am up early tomorrow to hopefully restock and cook another nice broth and a curry for freezer for lunches.

When I freeze curry I cook up n mash cauli to pack the bottom of the container with then add curry on top. Works wonderfully well for a quick meal.

G&B been thinking of you, hows your daughter?

Not great, she was admitted to hospital this morning with pneumonia:( 3rd time in a year.
Took her to the doctors this morning and they told me she needed to go to A&E and were going to get an ambulance but i figured it would be quicker to drive her as my car was right outside. So i've been in the hospital all day, i'm just back and have wolfed down a half pizza supper from the chippy washed down with pear cider and now i feel much better.:o

Hope everyone else is ok, think i'll have an early night as no doubt i'll be at the hospital all day again tomorrow.

I really hope that your daughter is home soon. Must be a huge worry.

As for me - wide-eyed and not legless, just sleepless! Must be all those sinutab I've taken (proper amounts at appropriate intervals, just not good with psuedoephedrine) so will just have to wander the flat for a couple of hours. Got a good audio book to 'read' so will plug myself in and try to relax. No biscuits in the house thank goodness as this is prime nibbling time!

Its not disgusiting as long as you don't share it. I had never thought of it but I do this without thinking (neutrogena for me) and my OH sometimes borrows my chapstick. Ewwwww. Shall I tell him or keep shtum? Oh and the medicated ones are a bad idea - it stings!
