Hi Badger
Had a great evening, a fella from the street i grew up in has asked for my number
cant remember his face but know the name, my memory is so crap, we were kids in the same street for gawds sake
Had lots of compliments about my weight, wore that summery kaftan and my sis just txt to say her mate said i looked really slim and had a fab top on :j
Had quite a few requests for my number from other old pals too ( male ones) :rotfl:
Things are looking up, although, i'm all talk and prob wont go out on a date at all :rolleyes:0 -
Still feel rotten and don’t feel like getting back on the wagon so Im going to have another couple of days off til this cold has gone - god knows what the carb count is in all of the lockets, tunes, lemsips etc that I have had!!!
Despite letting myself have carbs, Im not doing too badly - I had a thick veg soup for lunch, a tin of slimmers world tuna in creamy tomato sauce and for tea Im having the rest of my chilli from the other day!!!
Will also be having a gander through the reduced items on my way home from work and see what Mr Tesco's has for me on the cheap (though I have got loads of eggs that need using up today  )0 -
Well done Mazzers for the compliments! Does a body the power of good.
Sorry to hear the lurgy has got to you Newcook, my cold keeps me away from carbs but each to their own. Mind you, if I'd been able to get my teeth round a sugary doughnut the other day it would have been a massacre!
Today's hotel food was totally fabulous - perfectly low carb and perfectly delicous. I had steak and kidney pie without the 'pie' bit and lashings of cauliflower cheese. Pudding was a huge chocolate profiterole, more cream than pastry but with some chocolate sauce over the top. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely naughty but ever so nice.
Glass of wine drunk and only some berries and cream for evening meal as lunch is still lingering.
Happy days.0 -
Hello all,
fallen off the wagon again, sigh. Oh that Macaroni cheese is a monster. Back to being good tomorrow.
Soooooo sleepy still. Working full time is a killer on my meds but bit worried about funds so needs must.
On a happier note, I'm loving the Lidl bucket o' yoghurt. Mmmmm.
Night night all. xx"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
Oooh, its so dark out
Have got my coffe and having half hour on lappy before everyones up.
I was soo tired yesterday after drinking the night before, just couldn't low carb, but back to it today. Been invited to a party on 31st0 -
Morning everyone :hello:
Badger, lovely to have you back, you sound in good spirits
mazzers, wowee you man-magnet!! I bet you feel like it's either famine or feast, but at the moment it's feast, so get greedy & tuck in!!Say yes, why not, to a date, you never know where it might lead.
marrow, newcook, I'm really struggling atm as well. Still sticking to lcing but there's an extremely fine line between me & a big bar of chocolate!! Don't know if I can resist much longer.
Gers, I REALLY WANT THAT PROFITEROLE!!
I'm still feeling rubbish todayTried going back to bed for an hour this morning but just lay there with things buzzing through my head  Really need to get a decent kip sometime soon.
Menu for today (& I will stick to it today)
B - 2 egg cheese omelette (forced it down)
L - 2 x crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - chilli or cottage pie with cauli mash
Didn't make the cottage pie last night as just couldn't be bothered with the faff on so just had 2 x fish in butter sauce with some cauli mash. Didn't stick to my menu at all yesterday, didn't have breakfast & had my crackers at about 11am. Had the innards of a cumberland sausage mid-afternoon & then my fish dinner at 6pm.
Had a delicious hazlenut hot chocolate drink with cream when Corrie was on, bl00dy lovely it was, although 5.1g carbs before the creamThen for supper I had 2 more crackers & cheese & a small handful of salt & vinegar peanuts.
So quite a lot really
Anyway, enough of me whinging on, I've got to go shopping for more supplies of garlic sausage & crackers.
Have a good day all :wave:0 -
Me again.
Holland & Barrett have a 'buy one, get one half price' deal on atm so my G.G. Crispbreads were £1.78 for 2 packets instead of £2.38 :j
Think the deal is for everything in the shop if anyone wants to stock up on stuff.0 -
I'm all bruised from how far i have fallen off the wagon:rotfl:
LO is out of hospital now so time to get back on track! I put on about 4lbs while she was in:eek: Mr Waitrose just delivered lots of lovely low carb food so need to start back on induction tomorrow. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Have you tried tomato juice? Some are lower carb than others but seems to settle me after a good night out drinking :rotfl:

Hi all!
I got mazz syndrome and seem to sleep a lot. (sorry sweets) so I fell unconcious before I replied here yesterday.
Yesterday's food
coconut oil n supplements
B - cheese and frankfurter type hot dogs (just love that)
L - Big hot veg n bacon broth
D - bavarian ham wrapped round brie with salad
Fell asleep so no supper required :rotfl:
Today
coconut oil n supplements
B - cheese and frankfurter type hot dogs
L - Big hot veg n bacon broth
D - bavarian ham wrapped round brie with salad, probably. That's something else I really enjoy :rotfl:
Have cooked n mashed cauli, allowed to cool then topped with curry (4portions!). Will be ok to freeze and will be having that for tomorrow's lunch.
Cooking in batches makes lcing quite cheap compared to buying lunch. Especially when you are using 'whoops' meat. :j (85 - 90p a portion for this curry meal)
Big love to all!
