OMG how could I forget?!
I had my hair cut today!! :j
First time since Februarybut I'm liking it & it flatters/emphasises my cheekbones, that are now visible after 5 weeks lcing!!
Now I just need to buy some dye to hide my grey 'streaks'
Also bought myself a jacket, some jeans & a hoodie for my trip up North, so feeling good/positive about myself today *insert strutting her stuff smiley*
Right, off to drink my hot choccie!!0 -
Hello chums,
I resisted chocolate today -yea me! Work is chocolate/sweets hell - there's always something on the go, but I'm bringing almonds tomorrow so will suck on them (if I chew them they get eaten too quickly and I've eaten loads before I've noticed!). I think having more sleep (even more than Mazzers) meant I was more able to resist. *cue blowing my own trumpet*
Well done Sweet for being such a good girl -I'm very proud of you. :T
right, I'm hungry now, I'm off to rifle through the fridge for something non carby. Toodles. x"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

Had a very nice day thanks, had a fab fillet steak at a harvester, was very surprised how lovely it was and only £12.99, i say only as the going rate here is about £17.00.
I am in bed but have been called upon for my taxi services :rolleyes:0 -

Thank you marrow, I'm very proud of me too!! :rotfl:
Morning peeps :hello:
Another terrible night 'sleep' last nightThis time I couldn't even get to sleep, usually I'm out like a light but then wake up constantly during the night. Last night I just tossed & turned.
Think I might have to resort to the antihistamines & wine after all
So I'm tired & grumpy this morning. Not helped by DD2 telling me she has lost her phone  Only decided to tell me just as she was going out to school this morning even though she knew last night it was gone. It's either on the school bus & been handed in (long shot) or she dropped it between the bus stop & home, she had her jacket over her head because it was raining, (more likely scenario & therefore no chance of getting it back). So angry with her because last week she 'lost' her bus pass. She needs a rocket up her backside!! :wall:
Told you I was grumpy:rolleyes:
Actually I'm moreas I feel very tired & emotional this morning
Anyway, menu for today
B - 2 egg cheese omelette
L - 2 crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - coriander, lime & ginger chicken with cauli mash & cheesy mushrooms
Off out again today so have a good day all
Sorry for whinging again0 -
Have had bother sleeping as well. I find if I eat food with a lot of E numbers in it I have a poor sleep. Bacon and sausages are the main culprits for me so look at the labels and try another brand.0

Afternoon LCers.
Busy day but managed to avoid carbs successfully. Breakfast was the last of the eggy bacony muffin things and just had a huge plateful of cold chicken, coleslaw and salad, very tasty indeed.
Still croaky and sleepy but will take advantage of it and have a snooze now.
It's lovely to hear about chin-lines reappearing and fat disappearing. PMA is working somewhere along the way.
Time for feet up and head down.

I'm a happy bunny again
DD2 just arrived home with missing phone!! :j Had been handed into Bus Driver last night. Phew!!
AH, I don't think I eat a lot of E numbers but I know they can be 'hidden' sometimes. Don't eat bacon but do eat sausages so will have a look at the ingredients next time I buy some, thanks.
Have been thinking for the last few days that I'm not eating enough green stuff so I've bought some fresh cabbage & broccoli/cauli mix today. Thinking of making a colcannon cauli mash to have with my chicken today.0 -
Hi all!
Am posting before reading much today as I keep reading then getting distracted and dozing off before I remember to say Hi!
Today's food

Well, I can't say I've been especially low-carb this week... I have been mega-hectic at work and in the evenings (what's new?) so there's been a lot of "grab". I even had to compromise my boycott of the eatery on our road because I simply didn't have time to go further.
Strangely though, I have been eating earlier in the day - as in my last meal is sometime between 3 and 4pm, then I don't have anything except a cup of tea all evening. So that's got to help, right? I'm positive my belly has shrunk.
Anyway, today:
- 9am full veggie breakfast: grilled tomato, fried eggs, hash browns, baked beans, lots of mushrooms and buttered toast with a cup of black tea.
- midday homemade mushroom omelette with chilli cheese and cherry tomatoes
- 3pm carrot cake
- 9pm cup of unsweetened maltMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
