Today I have been mostly good on the LC front, until I found an opened bottle of white wine in the fridge.
Another early start today and then lunch was a good LC one; chicken breast with salad and coleslaw. This time is was a buffet with loads of carb filled stuff which looked lovely but would have been POISON! Got to think of sugar and carbs as POISON with a hazard sign hanging from them. There were profiteroles again but not as delicious or as huge as yesterday, in fact they were fairly medicore, thankfully.
Evening meal was some chicken and mayo with a lump of pecorino and then the fateful wine. Think I deserve it after the day I've had. :j:j
Tomorrow and Friday are peaceful, no major travelling (today it was well over the legal limit as I was following a colleague ) involved. Food will be ordinary LC with no difficulties.
We've had a very unexpected family death this week, one of the older generation but still not expected, which has thrown me a bit emotionally. Nothing I can do, obviously, but when the 'wrong' half of a marriage goes first it's odd. Keep your family close, it won't last long.
My loose watch is looser - I'm wearing a fab pink Per Una top which was put away cos it didn't fit and my ankles are touching. How better can life get?

Morning! First one in???
Breakfasted, abluted and ready to face the day.
For lunch I'll have to finish of the lovely chicken, though it's probably less lovely from being in the fridge since Sunday, with salady stuff.
Been emailing since about 6.30 this morning cos I work better early.
Going out tonight for a meal (ASK voucher) which will be a challenge, and then seeing Andy Parson's do his stand up comedy in Durham.
Happy days. :j0 -
Morning, back on induction today to try and shift my lard !!!! I like your thinking Gers (we'll not mention the score from last night shall we:o) about carbs being poison. They do actually make me feel ill.
Just had a decaff coffee with cream, got to take LO to hospital at 11am then shopping so will have a big omelette or something for brunch to keep me going. Dont want to be tempted when i'm out.
Hope everyone has a lovely low carb day.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Good morning good morning, my youngest is 18 today
His dad has been over and we were reminiscing about the day he was born and i had to go to theatre and they dumped a brand spanking new baby (his first) on him and left him to it :rotfl: he was mortified... and petrified!!
I am off for a jaunt with a gang of friends and lunch will be the order of the day0 -

Just eating my brunch, 3 egg, cheese and bacon omelette:D It is lovely. Has a splash of Lea and Perrins in it too, anyone know the carb content of it? It has no NI on the bottle. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Found some Lindt 90% cocoa chocolate which has only 5.6grams/100 grams of carbs, that's even less than strawberries.
Joy :A:A
Could only manage 2 squares though0 -
I can't do that 90% choc. Tastes like chalk to me. Can do the 85% though. Amazing what a difference 5% makes!0
-
Althuogh it would be pretty great if you melted it and dipped your strawberries in!0
