Morning peeps :hello:
Gers, I'm good tooHope you get through the invigilating today without too much coughing & spluttering!!
mazzers, you had better be good today!!
Mercy, hope you doing ok, you can still post on here even if you're not lcing properly atm. We need to know you're ok so a daily post, even a little one, puts our minds at rest. :undecided
Had a more modest brekkie this morning so just hoping it keeps me going as long as my mega brekkie did yesterday!!
B - 2 egg cheese omelette
L - 2 x crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - ginger & coriander chicken with cauli mash & maybe garlic mushrooms
Had about 5 or 6 roasted & salted almonds last night - they were lush!! Got them from Netto a couple of weeks ago but only just opened them. Also had a babybel cheddar before dinner.
Hope everyone has a good day today, tis a bit grey here this morning :wave:0 -
Morning, just having some [STRIKE]cremated[/STRIKE] caramelised sausages for a late breakfast. Lunch will be salad with cheese, coleslaw and corned beef (looks like dog food, tastes amazing):o
Dinner will be homemade bolognaise sauce and salad. Bit random but really tasty!
Hope everyone is well, i have an exam tomorrow so need to go get some serious study done after my cuppa. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I need to start low carbing again. I recently came back from a 3-week [STRIKE]carb fest[/STRIKE] road trip in America and before that we were so busy planning it that I didn't eat well then either. I was 197lbs when I got back , but luckily dropped 8 of those last week without trying. Must have been water weight.
I can't even remember now what I started at so I've changed my sig to reflect my BMI instead.
Need to get organised with the grocery shopping and I'd like to splash out on brand new clothes for the gym so that I feel more comfortable there.0 -
Are there loads of carbs in throat lozenges? Pholcodine? Peanut butter?
First two for relief of symptoms, last one for soothing the soul!0 -
I am showing my 'friend' the door
She actually marched (carried my shopping) into my house with the most delicious brown walnut bread (full of walnuts) cut it in half and said 'i'm leaving this for you as you must try it' and i ate nearly all of it
That really is a true story and i've now told her off :rotfl: with butter and walnuts round my gob.
Fabulous it was.
But it wasn't my fault, it was like leaving drugs for an addict
Back to square one tomorrow
Sorry Sweet0 -

Aw babe, I don't think anyone could have resisted that. Shame on well meaning friend! Are there loads of carbs in throat lozenges? Pholcodine? Peanut butter?

Many throat lozenges are no sugar - check the packet, it may not be so badDunno about pholcodine, no info on pack? Depends how much you used though, a pint o the stuff would've laid you out so not worth the worry :rotfl: Peanut butter aint so bad, again - a whole jar?

Thanks for that, sweets. I'm quite fine really, hun. Gona try to remember to get the crackers you've been talking about. Sound interesting for a change of food type thing.
Hope our lurgy ridden peeps feel better soon! Woke myself up coughing last nite, but got back off once I'd choked up a lung or so
Big love

How about this?
Just checked last few weeks lottery tickets and I've won £64!
That means I'm just £6 down after the burglar incident. Cheap lesson in home security I thinkImagine my glee :rotfl:
Funny how things work out :T
Had a really good nights sleep last so things were in perspective and quite cool before I found out about the win. Now I'm just happy

Good luck with your exam, G&B, fingers crossed it goes well
LittleMiss, good to see you back & sounding very motivated
Gers, mmmmmm, love peanut butter, definitely good for soothing the soul
mazzers ... *big sigh*
I'll let you off this once, but only because the bread was brown (healthy) & it had lots of walnuts in (healthy & low-carb) & you had it with butter ...
But admit it, it's all gone now!!
And admit it, this friend of yours is one of those 'imaginary' friends that doesn't really exist but you can blame for doing naughty things!!:rotfl:
Anyway, I'm still being good!! :A
Had half a pack of green beans with my chicken & cauli mash & did a creamy cheese sauce with my garlic mushrooms - bl00dy lush it was!!0 -
Good to hear you are happy and £64 better off, Mercy!! :j A good mix!!0

Do a meal plan for the week. Sorting that out made such a difference to me. I know what I need to buy and always have low carb stuff in for the week. The less you 'need' to visit the shops, the less you spend overall and the more time you have for doing stuff you want.
Batch cook n freeze meals. This makes it easier as there's always something there when you need it.
Best o luck babe!
