You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Bloody hell Mercy.

Why would they nick a tv then dump it

Wonder if its someone who knows you

Had my house broken into for my brand spankin new bike years ago, turned out to be my sons 'friend', cops didnt believe us either coz my purse was untouched.

Chin up, hopefully better times are around the corner.

    Thank you matey-girl!

Just ad a fone call - they got him!:j

I've changed my locks but the lovely police guy said it was important they let me know :D Burglar confessed and wil likely be out of it for a while as he was on a 'too soon let out' - my words. 'Early release'? and he wouldn't be troubling the general public for a bit. Sounds like he's straight back to do the rest of his time.

And I got a wake up call.

Kinda funny as I can only imagine sleeping.
    I can't do it though.

    Love you sweet sista

I just thought i would update on my progress, it is now 5 weeks since i began, after 3 and a half weeks i was wondering if it was worth it, now i weighed myself today and i have lost 6Kg, (13.2 lbs in old money), i put on my jeans this morning(5 weeks since i have worn them) and they are falling off me, i dont have a belt so will have to endure the flights from africa back to aberdeen holding my troosers up.

3 weeks off now in Scotland is going to be the big test, will see how i get on, according to the height/weight chart i still have another 4/5Kg to lose before i get into the OK range, so if i dont put much on in the next 3 weeks, then i should manage it on my next 5 week working trip.

Ooh dont know about that, i might be tempted to leave things out ;)

Would you like me to post the contents of my knicker drawer  seeing as you have a rather curious nature :rotfl:

Only joking :rotfl: I might oblige but know i will get fed of of doing it

So the contents of your underwear draw changes often enough to make a daily list worthwhile, and there's things you'd leave out? Go on then I'm missus nosey parker but I want pics, particularly of any Bridget Jones control numbers you're tempted to leave out ;)

I did once live with a girl that could have told you the contents of her (scarily folded and counted) underwear drawer without looking. She was more than a little OCD though!

Sorry back on topic. I really can't bring myself to post what I eat here, partly because I don't get time to read every day and would get irritated trying to keep up, and partly because you'd all be horrified at my peculiar low-ish carb but pretty unhealthy diet!

You poor thing, sorry can't think of anything suitably nasty or flip to say. Or anything positive really except I hope they catch the skumbag.

Ah that's what happens when you post without getting to the end. Glad to see they did catch the little *rudeword*. Hope you manage to get some sleep soon.

Good things are always happening, you just gotta take notice :)

    Just call me Pollyanna :rotfl:

    1) got tv back (and it mostly works - will be ok soon)
    2) the scummy bstards are fingered (due to their fingers a la my window n tv)
    3) only had to pay for new - and better quality than I'd had as it turns out - locks

£70 for a wake up call? Could've been much worse.

Mercy you're a lesson to us all. :T There aren't many people who could find anything positive in the experience you've just had.

There's a (((hug))) from me too in case you're still in need of one.

Mercy, what a horrible thing to happen to you :( More big hugs on the way to you :grouphug: Glad they caught the bstard & hope he rots in hell!! Yes, it could have been worse, but what happened was bad enough. Sounds like Newton was trying to alert you, hero cat. Hope you managed to get some sleep last night. So glad you got your locks sorted, that will help make you feel more secure. :kisses3:
