Got enough cobwebs to fill a haunted house
Aw, me too
Thinking if I leave em for a bit they'll do for halloween :rotfl: Got really high ceilings (what were the Victorians thinking? Spacious well lit rooms indeed! No thought for the heating or cleaning at all! Though they did have staff...) so I need an extension for my tickling stick. That's my excuse anyway. Did see Kim n Agie using a moistened mop for cobweb removal so really have no excuse. Will get a nice cheap one from asda.
Mum once commented on cobwebs, I said I didn't want to disturb the spiders. She pointed out that the ones we see are the rubbish abandonned ones - now covered in dust.
I'm a Goth so I mostly don't care. However, these could give tarzan a good day out so maybe it's time. Spring cleaning - here I come! :rotfl:

Morning fellow low carbers. Nearly fell off wagon yesterday too Gers but i managed to overcome temptation:o
My mantra was 'Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels'. Definately keeps me on the straight and narrow.
Hope everyone has a great day:AThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I came home to find cobwebs and dust everywhere. Took days to sort out one way or another and I still haven't touched the bedroom or en-suite. There is however a rather splendid cobweb above the front door, about 3 feet wide and a foot deep.I have left it because it really is a work of art. There is a layer of dust over it so it shows up and the light comes in from a glass panel which lights it all up. It will have to go eventually I suppose but I want Badger (who arrives next week, yay!) to see it.Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.0

Morning everyone :hello:
Feelingagain this morning. Kids feeling ill & sorry for themselves, especially DD2, she was getting upset on the way to the bus stop but I think partly because she's had another falling out with her 'friend' who is a highly-strung spoilt biatch!! Sick of her upsetting my daughter!! I know girls fall out all the time but it's always my DD2 who comes off worse with this brat!! Anyway, expecting a phone call from the school anytime soon, don't expect her to last the day. Don't mind, just want to give her a big hug.
Still wobbling with low-carb (thanks for that word Mercy!!) maybe because my meal-times were all to pot yesterday. Also didn't have any veg at all so not very happy with myself for that. I do love my veg but yesterday I didn't really feel like eating anything, apart from mazzers pizza that is, probably would have scoffed the whole thing
Welcome back Gaye, feels like you have been away ages, good to have you back.
B - pork medallion & fried egg
L - ??
D - chicken something
Will try to perk up today, got mazzerism instead of pollyannaism atm:rolleyes:
Have a good day all :wave:0 -
4lbs isn't bad, mazzers, I've put more than that on in a week before :rolleyes:0

Morning folks - been sitting at my PC since about 6.00a.m sorting out my iTunes and listening to an Ian Rankin audiobook, up to chapter 7 before I looked up (over 2 hours). Now showered, dressed and breakfasted.
Going to splurge on low low carb stuff today and save myself for a family event on Saturday which is a sit down dinner. Need to bite both the bullet and the carbs whilst grinning along.
Today I've had raspberries and strawberries for breakfast. Lunch will be some Black Forest Ham with piles of salad and the evening meal is in the lap of my whimsy!!
Got a sit-down type of day doing a whole wad of urgent paperwork () but will get it cracked. Just ordered a new computer chair from JL - mine was a cast-off from a place I haven't worked at for 9 years and it's beginning to list, almost fell off the other day when I bent down. It's being delivered to the store tomorrow morning so I can pop down and collect it -the delivery service would have been next week when I'm away so this is easier.
Cup of tea m'thinks!
Keep cheery.0 -

I know its pretty good after all i've scoffed so i must try to shift another stone and maybe i can have the odd binge but keep that off too.
Really feel for you regarding you DD, cant cope when my kids are unhappy, try to stay focussed on lc tho as this is the time when you will cave and feel even worse then.
Sometimes, hard as it is to accept, it's good life experience for them as they learn to deal with all the sh*te life can throw at them and they come out stronger.
Got a bit of mazzerism myself today so just feel like curling up in bed for the day :rolleyes:0 -
Well i jumped on the scales yesterday again, lost about 0.3Kg, hardly worth speaking about but it is downwards which is positive.
I am stuck in an oilfield camp in Africa, and it is very hard to stick to low carb here, and i guess most of you know how hard it is to walk past huge bowls of chips and pasta and bread, but i think i am managing fine, although i have been very tempted somedays.
10 days left and then back for the big test in Scotland, my land for pizzas and lager most days, boy is it going to be tough.0 -
I’ve been a naughty girl again…!!! Went out last night and had only planned on having one or 2 then going home for my lovely curry but instead had about 1 bottle of rose and a couple of glasses of dry white  !!!! by the time I had got home I was past being hungry so didn’t even have my curry
– 3 guesses whats for tea tonight!!!
Its also TOTM and all I want is comfort foods like pie and mash, or beans or chips…
On a brighter note though, I can now fit in a pair of jeans that the other week wouldn’t fit!!! I admit, the fit is snug but snug is better than not being able to do up the button!!
Breakfast has been 2 babybells and a can of sugarfree redbull, lunch will be cucumber, lettuce and some sardines and tea is my lovely curry!!!
Will the flax bread recipe still work without the seeds being ground?!?! I know, Im clutching at straws but I NEED BREAD!!!!!!!0
