Don't jump off newcook!! You have been doing so well (remember the jeans!!) & you will regret it if you do!! It won't make you feel any better, infact you will feel yuk because your body has become used to less carbs so having a carb binge will result in bloating & general feeling crapadom!!
Your supervisor was out of order having a go at you infront of everyone but rise above it. TOTM definitely makes me more emotional but hopefully it won't last too long.
Big hug given0 -
thanks sweet!! well, I've had it out with him and had a huge go at him and he profusely apologised and gave me a raise!!
ok, so the above was all in my imagination but at least I won and I was right (as I always am when I have these discussions with people in my head) but I feel a damn sight better now!!!!

Oh YES!

My mother had a load of the symptoms and I persuaded her to do the saliva test. Miles of threads. She immediately went low carb and it wouldn't be an over statement to say that her life has been transformed. :j
Remove sugar/yeast and see the benefits. Hope this helps you as much as it did my family.0 -

Hello folks!Going to splurge on low low carb stuff today and save myself for a family event on Saturday which is a sit down dinner. Need to bite both the bullet and the carbs whilst grinning along.
Made me laugh! Maybe see it as a carb day which will help you in the long run? Seems to work for some of our peeps. Make it an experiment.
Black Forest Ham with piles of salad and the evening meal is in the lap of my whimsy!!
Is that smoked rather than cooked? I ask as Lidl do a great Bavarian Ham for £2 which is deliciousLap of my whimsy!
Keep cheery.I know its pretty good after all i've scoffed so i must try to shift another stone and maybe i can have the odd binge but keep that off too.
Nice one hunni! I gained 1/2 stone each time I've been to Switz. Took a couple o weeks to know it was dealt with for sure
Really feel for you regarding you DD, cant cope when my kids are unhappy, try to stay focussed on lc tho as this is the time when you will cave and feel even worse then.
Sometimes, hard as it is to accept, it's good life experience for them as they learn to deal with all the sh*te life can throw at them and they come out stronger.
I was bullied at school but didn't have the nice mum you two seem to be. Support is necessary and makes all the difference.
Got a bit of mazzerism myself today so just feel like curling up in bed for the day
I often feel like that :rotfl: Still, it's nearly Friday! :jWell i jumped on the scales yesterday again, lost about 0.3Kg, hardly worth speaking about but it is downwards which is positive.
I am stuck in an oilfield camp in Africa, and it is very hard to stick to low carb here, and i guess most of you know how hard it is to walk past huge bowls of chips and pasta and bread, but i think i am managing fine, although i have been very tempted somedays.
10 days left and then back for the big test in Scotland, my land for pizzas and lager most days, boy is it going to be tough.
Hi hunni
It's very hard to stick to low carb anywhere food is made for many, carbs are so cheap (and so tasty) that they crop up everywhere 'catering' goes on. Well done on avoiding as much as poss. Do you drink enough water? If not sure then you probly don't
Us making do with the British climate are supposed to drink 2-3 litres, maybe you should be aiming for more. Probly be much easier when you're back in Scotland.
Best of luck with all the temptations when you get back! Remember, if you have a blow out for a coupla days because of the excitement don't give up. Just get back onto it asap. You know when you're taking the p1$s, that's when you should stop
Big love all!

YAY! It's Friday tomorrow! :j
My Inventory proved useful as last night I made a lovely curry out of beef mince I had forgotten about
First time I ever used frozen cauli too. Cooked it, squashed it into my tupperware then added curry on top. Had it for lunch today was the most lovely thing!
The curry was a bit greasy even though I removed most of it (well it was beef mince) and the cauli base was just the perfect foil for any oiliness still remaining.
Have just cooked some more frozen cauli to do for two meals as above. Will have one for lunch tomorrow and the other (with cauli) will go into freezer for a lunch next week.
The 3 meals I got out of this little culinary adventure cost me nowt. Had all the stuff in the cupboards already! :rotfl:
As an aside - If you choose to munch chorizo whilst chatting on a forum remember you have two choices. Either cut into bite size pieces or never let it go. I didn't follow these rules and mine rolled off the desk to coat itself perfectly in the few cat hairs deposited in the last hour on the carpet after cleaning. Poo. Got some more now - in slices
