Hello all you lovely low carbers! And the naughty ones!

I'm q happy as since work done the washing, washing up, tesco on line and general tidy

    Food today
    coconut oil n supplements
    B - boiled egg n cheese
L - 2 drumsticks, mayo, few cherry toms and salad
D - cauli, covered with chicken done in gravy with mushrooms

Managed to eventually sort my new alarm clock out. It's dead interestingly complicated :D Can set alarms for mon to fri, sat and sun all differently :) Have the choice of DAB stations or cd in each case :j

Looking forward to waking up now, it has a great tone for an alarm clock :rotfl:

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

. You'd think that not eating much would mean losing weight but my fat reserves are clinging on for grim life.

Yep thats what happens unfortunately, your body thinks you are starving so holds onto everything it can, so eat eat eat!

Had a few days off lc eating over bank hol to chill out, and felt soo rubbish on the monday I spent most of the day in bed, evil carbs!

Back on it as of yesterday, already showing 4lbs down which is bonkers! September is gonna be a hardcore month for me, following lc eating to the letter (with my refeed/cheat day as usual), lots of working out and cardio to make big changes for when bf comes home next month. And also to show myself I can actually do it if I put my mind to it!

Hah, there was a secret to writing swear words ( if you felt the desire) but it seems they've cottoned onto it :D

Morning - just heading out again. Despite having a hotel lunch yesterday I had low carb all day- baffled the hotel staff when I declined the chips with the chicken and then smothered the lot in mayo. Same again today I expect.

Thought I'd succumb to a glass of wine last night but when I got back home lost the notion -yay!

    Read this just now:

Does anyone have a weird weight thing where, if you cheat a bit (red wine and chocolate, for example, just an example, can't think where that came from) you get on the scales the next day and no damage done, so you feel perked up and have a good day and then the NEXT morning you've put on two pounds? This time lag thing is very annoying and gets me every time. Can my metabolism be so slow that it doesn't notice food for 24 hours and has a time delay? :)

Hmmmmmmm, always said Mercy was a geek!! :p:rotfl:

Only kidding my lovely!! :kisses3: How are things with you?? Are things still lovey-dovey in the Mercy household?? Hope so.

    Morning everyone :hello:

Ok, I'll start with the weather ...

Tis wet & forecast to get wetter :( And I won't even mention the wind!! :rotfl:

Got to go shopping again today, wasn't a success yesterday as no school things bought at all :( Just ended up with sore feet & miserable faces. I hate shopping with the kids!! When is it they go back to school?? *taps fingers impatiently*

Anyway, today is low-gi pasta day for the meal-plan. Thinking of doing macaroni cheese as that's always guaranteed to be finished. Probably add a tin of tuna to pad it out at bit.

Hope everyone is fine & dandy

Lol, yep, it happens :o Not that it's happened lately mind because I'm tee-total & chocolate-free atm!! :D

Best thing to do is not weigh yourself!! :p

Probably should [STRIKE]admit[/STRIKE] add that I was really craving chocolate last night but kids wouldn't go to the shop to buy me some!! Had a hot chocolate drink instead & felt much better. :D

Edited to add: Cadbury Highlights hot choc is 4.6g carbs per serving - not too bad to satisfy the chocoholic in me
