Hello all!
I'm deffo going to try Gaye's brekkie, sounds lovely. I'm going though a really weird eating phase at the mo. I just don't fancy food at all ...but then my sugar gets low and I end up shoving something down my gullet to stop me keeling over -usually orange juice...then hubby gets worried I'm not eating and he makes pasta. You'd think that not eating much would mean losing weight but my fat reserves are clinging on for grim life.
Sweet -Chorizo is Italian sausage, a bit like a mix of salami & pepperoni but not as spicey. Really nice in pasta sauces (without the pasta of course!).
Right, going to waddle to the kitchen and scavenge something to eat coz haven't eaten anything yet. OH forgot to go shopping yesterday (men!) so the cupboard is bare (Old mother Hubbard stylee) but have some eggs so will have to be omlette methinks.

I'm 5ft 1, BMI about 22.5 Why?The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I was just a bit concerned that if you were taller, you may actually be underweight. I used to be 8st 7 (many years ago!) and was quite slim but I was 5'4" then. I'm 5'6" now and my BMI is 22. I would like to get down to 20.5 but no lower (she says as if that may even be a possibility!) When I started my BMI was 26 which put me in the overweight category. It's nice to be 'normal' even if I still want to lose more.Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. But, one more question before I go
What is chorizo?? Is it a big sausage?!Oo'er missus!! Do/can you eat it raw?? Is it in the chilled section?? What does it taste like?? Is it hammy??
Will pop back later, have to go shopping for school things, & that's a dirty word in this household, so should be a fun trip. Not.
I wouldnt fancy it raw, but i like everyting well done
Lidl do a whole one for about two quid, and when its sliced and frying it produces lovely orangey oil, which i then fry my spinach in mmmmm
Like marrow said, its very like pepperoni off the top of a pizza
Been bucketing down here for hours and got high winds to look forward to later
Oh to have a bmi of 22, mines double that :eek:0 -

I was looking through my mums cook books today and stumbled across a gorgeous !!!! au vin recipe which looked totally low carb - as long as you cook of the alcohol in the wine!! (i think?!)
I'll dig it out again and post it cos it looks delicious, think its a james martin recipe....
also - did any one watch jamie in america last night? That mexican salad he did with avacado and cucumber dressing looked immense, minus the fried tortilla strips on top it would be seriously looowww carb.. mmmm
I'm liking the happy mood on the board todaymakes the world seem brighter - and thats saying something as its black over bills mothers and tipping it down!
