    Hello!

Bin rubbish LC wise today, mostly eating chips  started off well with beef slices and Gin then got lost what with cider, wine, lager and cocktails. :rotfl:

Heyho! Good job it's only 1ce a year :D And I did get some lovely jewellery

Nice to find out my mate in Switz has been bingeing on the red leicester and cheddar I left there :) She doesn't like swiss cheese. Poor baby, that's all she can get :rotfl:

We just don't know how lucky we are.

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)
  • Morning all :hello:

Had a lovely night's sleep last night (for a change). Was a bit chilly willy so had the windows shut & I slept like a log!! Lesson to be learned there, methinks.

Lesley (note the spelling, mazzers!! :p) I forgive you, my child. Well, as long as you saved me some of those choccies, that is!! :rotfl:Love, love, love Thorntons, but you can keep the rum ones, I'll just have the viennese truffles, they are just one of my many favourites.

Sunny, well done on fitting into your jeans!! I'm glad muffin tops & camel toes weren't mentioned!! :rotfl:

Well, no pigs in blankets for me today :( No chipolata sossies in Co-op & didn't fancy any of the other varieties they had. Bummer.

Having a 'Sunday Dinner' today though. Mmmmmmmm can't wait. Roast chicken with lots of veggies. Might [STRIKE]Will[/STRIKE] sneak one or two yorkshire puds onto my plate as well. Any remaining chicken will be made into coronation chicken for lunch tomorrow. If I can be bothered I'll make the bones into stock for soup. Question is, can I resist the lure of the blackberry crumble I'm going to be making today from the brambles I foraged yesterday?? Hmmm, knowing me, I think you know the answer to that one!! :o:rotfl:

Have a lovely day, tis Sunday, yaay!!

Well, i seem to have struck a balance weight wise.
Am keeping the stone off, and size 16 tops fitting me comfortably, so altho i'm far from slim, i'm kinda average.

Have lost all my ability to stick to lc completely, even with a holiday looming, but am great three days a week (work) hence keeping it off i spose
I must have my BG well sorted now though so i'm happy.

Sweet, just one little point to add to my wierdness level, i dont like thorntons chocs, or lindt either :p

How can a lovely sunny washing drying day (yesterday when i was in work) turn into another drizzly miserable one eh??

Oh, btw, my tip of the day.. nuts, great to keep a few in your pocket for emergencies as half a dozen really do keep hunger at bay for hours, and that is my secret for staying good on work days, except focus, sorry you're not allowed, you'll scoff the whole 800g bag :rotfl:

Got a nice piece of beef slowly cooking, and a bottle of oakey white wine with my name on it :j

Been a tough week in Gers-land. Too much travel, antibiotics, an allergic reaction to something (but not the tablets as it happened 3 days after the last one) and too much work had brought me slightly low. So today climbed out of the pit, visited Waitrose and now got a fridge full of vegs and protein again.

Didn't go out for a few days so scavenged in the cupboards and freezer to find stuff to eat. However, now peeping over the edge of happiness again and ready to roll!

Did a very compliceted Excel spreadsheet this afternoon and cracked the problem :j so now having a celebratory glass of water. :rotfl:

Why?! Why do you keep weighing?! You're obsessed, woman!! Especially after a carb-binge, it's just asking to get fed up because you know you are going to put weight on!! Chances are it'll be water & be off again before you know it. Consider yourself told off, missus!! :p:rotfl:

Anyhoo, I am soooooo stuffed with food!! My Sunday dinner was soooooo yummy, but sooooooo big!! :o And then I had bramble crumble for afters!! :o Bl00dy gorgeous though!! :D

And yes, I know, I don't practice what I preach!!
